View Full Version : I have a problem

:) I need advice on a subject, that is alarming

I have two Best freinds who are females, but are young meaning their 15 years of age.

I work with both of them, and they have told me plenty of times, that a man has asked them personal questions.

the guy is 38 years of age, and a background of terror.

the personal questions were

what is your phone number?

do you have an e-mail address?

Where do you Live?

he has asked this question alot to these girls.

That is making me concern as an manager to the problem that is developing

Last friday this guy was following these girls all over the mall, and following them home.

He has been stalking these girls for 3 weeks.

as a manager I told these girls do you want to press charges if so we can Ban him from the mall, and store.

They told me no things will be fine.

I sent the complaint to my General manger this past weekend.

this guys has been stalking these girls for awhile now.

How can I encourage these girls to file an harrashment on this guy.

I would approciate if I can have some advice.

Try and explain to these two girls that this guy could seriously hurt, rape, or kill them if he has such a horrible background. At least get the guy banned from the mall, and tell them to be very careful in any surrounding areas.

You can't really force them to do anything, however I do think that something needs to be done before it gets out of control. It is possible that they are afraid of what will happen if they press charges - try to explain to them that it should work in their favour and that the police are discrete and compassionate about things like this. Offer to accompany them if they decide to go - let them know that you support them and are there for moral support.

Have you heard back from the General Manager - that might be an avenue to explore with the girls. Find out if they are willing to send a complaint directly from them.

If you can ban the guy from the store it sounds like a good idea, however you don't want to act without talking to the girls first otherwise they may think you are going behind their backs. Explain that you are worried about them and want to do this for their own safety.

I don't know the laws in your part of the world but it strikes me that because they are 'minors' there might be something more than 'harrasment' that you could get the guy with. It might be an idea to seek out some legal advice just to find out where the girls would stand if they were to press charges. That way you can speak to them again and be able to give them all of the information.

Good luck.

You need to get through to the girls with the prospect that they are in danger because of this guy.

Do they need to file charges? Can you go to the police and express your concerns? How do you know he is only following these girls? He may be doing it to others as well, and you would hate yourself if he did anything to anyone.

Also, can you talk to him. Tell him directly, that you do not want to see him near your friends anymore. Tell him if he does not stop following them, you will get the police involved. Knowing that you are watching him may make him switch his attention elsewhere.

 Thanks guys I am schedule to meet with the general manager and the two girls, and their parents. also the store owner

I have been escorting them out of the store, and search behind their cars, and in their back seat.

you guys are right if something does happen to them, I would never forgive myself.

Btw the background of terror

is he stalked girls who were 7 years old, and was arrested for it. so now he strikes again 5 years later.

he looked at kid porn and adult porn.

tuesday this should stop.

in our store when this crap is happening we go into Lockdown

no girl allowed outside without a male escort and a manager to see to make sure neither one is harmed.

thanks again.

 CAUGH CAUGH , sorry but... are you telling that a guy with 30 or more years can be "demonized" for age????
Obsesive persecution is not a matter of age but sick minds....
Sometimes I think that youg people are in other planet, today you are in 15 but in few years you will be in 20, 30 and more.... LIFE is that, man!
really, it is horrible to hear, "old guy of 38  is obse-x-ssed with that young lady and bla bla bla..."
former guys are not sick people...

Perhaps so, BlackSun, but his point was that no 38-year-old should be stalking 15- or 7-year-old girls. It's wrong if ANYONE stalks a woman, but this guy is more than TWICE these girls' ages. If that's not a warning sign, then I don't know what is.

Watch what you post. You've come across as rude on a couple of occasions and some of your comments are unnecessary. I won't be approving your posts if I see this kind of stuff again.

he was not saying "older" men are sick. he was saying that a 38-year old has no business following around 15-year olds. He is also speaking from personal experience since he KNOWS the history of this man. You should read the ENTIRE thread instead of just the first post. You might have missed where he said

is he stalked girls who were 7 years old, and was arrested for it. so now he strikes again 5 years later.

he looked at kid porn

Wouldn't YOU be alarmed if this man was following your daughter/sister around? he never said ANYTHING bad about this man because of this age. He never said, or even hinted, that being 38 was old. He was merely pointing out that this man had NO BUSINESS being near his friends. did you read the whole thread, or just chime in with your point after reading the 4th sentence?

By the way, Punisher, what happened with all of this?

Or stalking anyone, for that matter.

Get a backround check done on the guy (it sounds like you already have, though.) And, make sure the girls know what he's done. And their parents know. And, if he continues to stalk these girls, get a protection order. And, banned from the store... And, maybe get him a trip to a correctional facility...

OK, without knowing how the meeting went, and assuming that the girls are still not interested in having him banned from the store, there's another angle to possibly follow up on. If he's been convicted of any form of sex crime against a minor, there may still be a standing order for him to avoid contact with minors. Some of these orders survive parole/probation periods and can remain in effect years after the person is otherwise considered rehabilitated. Talk with the police and see if he's got such an order, if he does then him coming into the store and asking them those questions would be a violation and he'd be right back off to jail. This way the girls don't have to make a decision at all, it's one that's been made for them already by a judge or jury who know a lot more about this person than the girls do.

:) the meeting was a waste of time we I was told to follow the girls to their cars, and search behind and inside their cars. possible of hidding.

he stalked them in a movie theater last night, but this time the girls have said, enough and I contacted the mall security and then the police.

girls filed an harrashment charge.

He is Banned from the store if he enters he will go to jail.

the scary part is he used a knife to flat their tires, and cut their brakes out.

so he has stopped, as far as I know.
