If you go to ticketmaster.com and just type in Evanescence and then click on the Evanescence tour one, and then it says Evanescence in Minneapolis, MN. I dont know if they allow camra's, but i'm still gonna take one anyways!

No, I know, i've posted most of the dates. I'm just hoping that they come to Wisconsin. Right now they do have an open date, the 14th I believe that could be a possibility. They've been like 3 or 4 times before, so I don't see why they wouldn't again.

I am definately either going to this one or orlando..it costs pretty much the same for both flights...I just have to decide...disneyworld...or mall of america?? its so tough..ive never been to the mall of america..and ive been to DW twice..but i was kinda young...man.. maybe i'll do both! =)

Depends. Back in August I went to the show at the target center. I called the office at the Target Center and the guy said that each tour has there own rules. The TC allows them if the tour allows them, but sometimes that info doesnt get to all the people it needs to. Depending on who frisks you, they may let you take one in or they may not.

I cant wait for this show. Seether, Three Days Grace, and Breaking Benjamin all with Ev. Shoudl be great.

Well, I finally got my tickets yesterday. Section 112 Row E. That's pretty good. I wanted to be in this section and only five rows back is pretty good. I'm really shocked that the seats are reserved, though.

I got FRONT ROW TICKETS!!! Woo hoo! :D Can't wait to see them for the first time.

Yeah, me too- I got my tickets today and they were general admission, too- for the floor. I assumed that it was first come first served at the concert, so whomever gets there first gets to stand where they want on the floor. At least I HOPE that's what it means!

I would bring a disposable camera instead only cause then you dont have to worry about it as much, and i'm gonna try to meet the band after the concert only cause its gonna be hard to know what time they get to the venue!

I'm road tripping from Kenosha, Wisconsin (points to profile info). I plan on being there early. We'll have to coordinate with each other so we know what we'll be wearing to meet everyone and stuff. I'm leaving the day before to go to Mall of America for the day. As far as meeting the band, i'd try before and after the concert. I'm not really sure when people meet them most often is. Yeah I just got my tickets for that- they're not as good as I had last time, but they're ok. My friends had to find someone to charge all eight of our tix so they could buy them over the phone and then pay them back so it took a while. This concert's going to be so much fun!

Yeah, I've never really been standing on the floor for this kind of concert- I'm usually sitting down, but I think it will a completely different experience being down on the floor with everyone else, just feeling the music and rocking out. I know it sounds corny, but that's what I think it will be like. I can't wait!!! I love concerts!!!

I like being in seats because you can actually see the entire stage. It also prevents people from bumping into you or any violence you may have inflicted on you from being on the floor.

I've never been there, but since I'm going to be on the floor, I'm planning on taking a good Kodak disposable camera (probably one of the new digital ones- anyone tried one yet?), so my good camera doesn't get broke. Yeah, if they sell cameras there, I can't imagine they would have a problem with cameras.

I signed up like a half hour after it was posted on the Seether board. So I know I got in. I also signed up my dad so he can take pictures of me and my sister when we meet them. So I may potentially have an open guest spot, if anyone's interested.

omg i didnt know they were going to have a meet and greet!! i would have signed me and my friend up!!! i cannot believe this, i was gone for a week for a softball tournament and i come back and relize that i could have met seether. Now i'm gonna have to wait out by the buses.

I think my 2 friends and I are going to try to get there around 6 p.m. or so, hopefully a bit earlier. It takes about 4 hrs. (depending on how fast you drive!) to get to Minn. from Iowa and we're not leaving until about noon, sooo we'll be cutting it close. See ya there!

you dont have a seat. General Admission is standing only. Being on the floor is so much better than in a seat for these shows.

Actually, I was pretty seriously hurt at an Ev concert in Milwaukee last year. Whenever you mix stupid people with alcohol anything can happen. I wish I would've been giving some sort of compensation for staying in the hospital though. Something from Ev would have been nice.

The Evanescence concert i went to i was on the floor and front row and no matter what you get SQUISHED!! my friend got her rib cracked from being pushed to hard against the bar. but if you dont want to smushed against the bar just dont go to the front.

I just got home from another concert that was very very good. it was Kittie. the rock live! Although I had like 5 crowd surfers land on my head (I was right at the rail) but its all good. :)

Okay, this is a lot later than the rest of everyone elses... buuuut...

I went on a trip to Spain (I left June 1st and just got back today). Like, four weeks ago when I called my parents (the vacation I was on was with my aunt, uncle and a few cousins), they said that there was going to be a big surprise for me when I got home, and I was like okay whatever. They had been talking about buying a dog, so I figured that's what it was. See, I was all mad at them because I had asked them to buy me concert tickets -before- I had left, but they said no. (I'm only fifteen and I don't have a job yet, or my license, so I had a) no money to buy tickets and b) no way to get down there.) Anyways, I get home, and as soon as I walk in the door, I see my boyfriend, Keith, sitting on our couch. And he's just got this stupid grin on his face, and I'm all thinking he's happy to see me home and stuff (which he was) but then he just laughed and pulled out EVANESCENCE TICKETS! He bought them as a welcome home gift for me, and do I -ever- love him for it.

Now really, how sweet is that?

They're General Admission, and we're leaving here (I live in Duluth, MN... about two and a half hour drive to the Target Center) at like 9 in the monring on Tuesday. We're gonna go to the Mall of America for a bit, and then we're going to get to the Target Center at like... I dunno 4:30. We really wanna get a good standing spot! Anyways, I find it highly romantic that he bought them for me, 'cause we went to the last one at the Target Center (when it was in the Intimates Theater) with a group of friends, and that's where he asked me to be his girlfriend.

Anyways... I just felt my need to say that.

Anyway I thought it was an awesome show, I got to hear 2 songs I wanted to hear last year but didnt get to, bringing in the band on previously piano solo songs helped with that. That Korn cover was pretty good too. I really like the intro on the piano.

I took about 60 pics, so hopefully some of them turn out and i get them up on my site soon.

So yeah...my girlfriend (posts as MortalAngel) and I had floor tickets and we got there around 4 pm (2 hours before the doors opened). So we got to be relatively close to the front. Yeah. Mistake. While Three Days Grace was playing their final three songs, the front of the mob pushed back and my girlfriend and I fell to the floor. Then about 7-10 others fell on top of us. The people behind us (who were still standing) started shouting for everyone to stop pushing and started helping the people on top of us up. I think I managed to get about 4 off of her with my left arm, while my right was pinned under some girl on top of me. After we got up, and the adrenaline wore off, we had absolutely no energy whatsoever and my Public Safety hat was gone. Enter the crowd surfer. He comes right over the top of us and I manage to push him up and over us, but his heal lands squarely on MortalAngel's head. She nearly passes out. Needless to say we bee-lined it to the nearest exit and bought some water (for $3.75 a bottle!!). We spent the rest of the show in the back. Afterwards, we got our t-shirts signed by the majority of the band, and I snapped off a picture of Amy and Richie with my camera watch. All in all it was a great show with the exception of the possibility of death. For those of you still on the tour schedule, I highly suggest going to see this show. I need to go get some much needed sleep, though. Take care, everyone.

I cant describe it much better than an amazing show. Amy's Voice was great, and I got lots of pictures of the whole band, which i wil put up when i get them devloped. And in case you wondered, Amy was in her Red corset with the pins up the front, and black pants and hair down.

And to think I complained about the PUSHING at the shows I had to stand at! That sounds horrible :( I really wish people would chill the fuck out at these shows. I get they wanna be closer to the band but you're not gonna get up on the freaking stage with them! [B]I went to the concert it was frickin awesome! by the time ev came on I was in the third row or whatever you want to call it but it was so smashed I hardley had room t breath But it was damn worth it to be that close Seriously I could see amy lee well when the tall people moved a little and when it stupid people on sholders moved out of my way But I did fall down during a mosh and my shoes came off and i had to find them again it was pretty intense I can't wait till tey come here again I will be the 1st one in line to buy tickets IF YOU HAVEN"T GONE TO A SHOW YOU DON"T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE MISSING!!!!!!! ps. Amy Lee looked so pretty!

And to think I complained about the PUSHING at the shows I had to stand at! That sounds horrible :( I really wish people would chill the fuck out at these shows. I get they wanna be closer to the band but you're not gonna get up on the freaking stage with them! Its horrible that you have to worry about getting crush just to hear a freaking band these days :rolleyes:

Yeah, a friend of mine got knocked down during Three Days Grace. That was scary. If you want to get close to the band, show up early, don't make things dangerous.

The thing about everyone falling down would make me angry, however, I don't think anyone should complain about the pushing, because its just a part of being on the floor. :rolleyes:

My group managed to stay together for virtually the entire show, which was really cool. When Ev came on, we were all within 5-10 feet of the barrier. So we all felt that shoving too. :p

I got complimented by a couple of 12 year olds on my outfit. Then a couple minutes later, a couple of drunk guys pointed at me, they're like "YOU." And I say "Me." And they go "You're the singer of Evanescence!" And I'm like "No, no I'm not." and they say "Aww quit lying. Come walk around with us!" And I just walked away in the other direction. :p
And some other girl in an SUV yelled "AMY LEE! AMY LEE!" out her car window. I didn't understand that she was yelling at me until she pulled away and my friend had to explain it to me. I couldn't tell if it was mockery, or what. But I don't care, I'll never see these people in my life again.

Perhaps someone saw me.. I was wearing black shorts with long black socks, and a "Workhorse Movement" shirt that says "Get Up You Peice Of Shit" on the back. I'm a little overweight, and I was on the floor for the show. I ate at the hardrock before hand and I was in the targetcenter by like 5.. so maybe you saw me. :)

Anyway, I took a bunch of pics, and they turned out really good, I've already cropped them and stuff. I work for www.concerthype.com so if the site admin wants the pics on the site, I'll drop a link to the pics. Otherwise I'll post here.

I'll also be writing a review for the show and it'll be on that site.

At the end of the show, a kid (a little younger than me; say 18 or 19) sitting right next to me and Rach asked me after the show was finished, "So, are you the lead singer of a band?"

This came as a shock to me; I didn't know how he knew that. I thought that maybe the outfit I wore gave off a lead-singer vibe or something. I was like, "Uh... Ye-yeah, I am."

Then he says, "You're Adam, right?"

I don't know if I'd ever been more flattered in my entire life. This kid, who I'd never met, knew who I was from my band. We weren't big, and we didn't last long, but we had obviously gotten to somebody. That's like, the biggest thrill ever; that our presence and music at a performance made a difference to someone... Enough to the point where they remembered who I was.

So, to clarify the situation, I said to him, "Yeah, I'm Adam. *grin* How do you know that?"

"Oh, were you in the Exposure Battle of the Bands at the Quest in December?"

Then it hit me... Yeah! We almost headlined that night... We played at 7pm on the mainstage... But how did he remember so clearly?

I told him, "Yeah! Were you there? Where are you from?"

"I'm from Hutchinson; I was one of the people you tossed your demo to while you were onstage! But I was the kid that fell over the fence from other people trying to catch it!"

It was so cool; I TOTALLY remembered this kid, now... I remember how happy he seemed to have the demo in his hands after we'd played a few songs.

When this happened at the Target Center; I think I had an epiphone; not just from this kid's situation, but just overall and for the future. Originally, when I started writing music, I wanted to do it for my own fulfillment; practicing art. I know that Amy has the same approach, so that motivated me to practice the same idea even more, considering how much I look up to her. However, there's more to it; for some reason, something in this kid's face made me want my (or our, depending on what I do) listeners to have the opportunity to build their own relationship to our music and find their own way of channeling their feelings through it as they see fit. I think it's important (for me, anyway) to leave what I write sort of open-ended; not saying too much. I want to leave it up to my audience to connect the ideas so they can relieve or extenuate feelings that they have about different aspects of their life. People can enjoy the music; sure... But to have that one song that hits some kid enough to where he decides not to commit suicide would be a miracle in work.

Wow... Sorry; I'm totally reminiscing... I think I just needed to get something out and I don't have anyone to talk to at the moment.

Anydangway, yah; the show ROCKED. I realized that the lead singer of 3 Days Grace sounds like Adam Pascal (Roger, from the original Broadway production of Jonathan Larson's "Rent") when he's not singing in his higher distorted voice. Yeah, they're wicked cool...

BTW, I liked Shaun's little innocent wave before he walked off the stage after slamming his guitar on it. That was funny after what he'd just done. :)

That is a really cool story. I hope something like that happens with my band in the future (assuming I ever find one that stays together long enough to write a demo).

The Zero cover makes me happy every time I hear it. And, as I mentioned, Breathe No More is also amazing. I hope they come back within the next 8-9 months, although I've seen them twice in the last year. I would definitely go back again, their live act is just getting better.

So I hung out after the show, even after that Asia Security woman was trying to tell us that the band left already (even though we had just seen John and Rocky walk by behind her). Eventually four of them came out and Amy agreed to pictures with people since there weren't that many there at that point.

For anyone that saw me out back, I was the one with the mario tshirt.

How long were you out there before EV came out? I hate when security people try to get rid of us. They should know by now that those of us that know better don't fall for any of that "they just left" crap lol...especially when some of the band members are walking right behind them

At what times did each band start to play? I have to work tomorrow and I want to sleep a little bit before the concert so I need to know how long I can wait before I leave and still see all of Ev's set.

If you're talking about the Meet and Greet with Seether, it was held right after their performance. I ended up missing two of Ev's songs, I think, but it was really cool to be able to meet the guys- they are awesome!!! I like how small it was, so you actually talk to them instead of just standing in line to get something signed and moving on. Btw, it was nice to meet a couple of you. The show rocked!!!!!!
It was almost a surreal experience to finally see Ev in concert, I think it is still sinking in... The entire show was incredible! I was on the floor to the left side of the stage just a couple of rows back, so I hope my pics turn out. If they do, I'll post them up here.
I was really impressed with Breaking Benjamin, I'm definitely going to have to get their album! Three Days Grace wasn't as good as Breaking Benjamin, but they were still decent. Of course Seether was awesome, those guys put on a great show! Now I kind of wish I would have stayed after the show longer to meet Ev, but oh well, maybe next time!
