We should be able to see them fine. We're sitting right by the boxes, so we will have a good view. Maybe for those with bad eyes, binoculars, and theres always the big TVs. I got there at 4:05 and thats the best I could get. ;) I feel your pain.

No, i like the armband idea. But... maaaaybe not Hot Pink. Perhaps, crimson or scarlet or something. Perhaps navy Blue. But would these bands have that EvBoard thing on them again, plus, how do i make one exactly? Well, i am totally in on this with you guys and am so excited about this concert... that it hasnt really hit me yet, wait, nope, still in a state of suspended disbelief. So please, oh please, PM me about anything about this concert, like how were meeting up or details about the venue or when to get there etc. So PM away! Name's Scott, id like ta here from ya!

ALSO, people going to EdgeFest have got to get the lay of the land and figure out any possible way for us to meet the Band! It'll probably be my only way to get to meet Amy in like a long long time, like, find out where to get autographs and stuff! LET'S PLAN PEOPLE!!

we could put the Evboard logo on the arm band....just use iron on transfers and you can just print em up from your own computer....don't forget to reverse the logo so when you iron it on it won't look backwards ;)

It's Almost June... Which is Almost July... Which is Almost EVANESCENCE!! AAAAH! But also, 3 Days Grace and Seether Rock too. Part of my anticipation for this concert is the hope that they'll perform some older stuff. I liked how they did "Even in Death" last time they were in Toronto. People were also looking at me weird and commenting on how I know it when I was singing along to it. Personally I would love to hear "Away From Me" or "Where Will You Go" but I haven't heard of them doing that live at all since joining up with Wind-Up. Still, I can always hope...

OMG!! I know! I took my brother and he actually fainted :eek: To big guys had to carrie him out...hehehehehe

i almost did too.. near the end.. ;) people kept shoving me soo hard and my ribs were getting squished! and everyone around me was soo freakin tall!! so it was harder to get air..

I was at the december show...it was super hot in there.... iwas like 8 rows back from the stage...tons of room around me....i think the people around me were scared of having a crowd surfer call on them..lol

It was extremly hawtttttt I too almost passed out, I kept reminding myself "you have come this far to see Evanescence there is NO WAY you are going to die on me now!" LOL I was 3 ppl back from the front rail, It was such an experience when she lurked out of the darkness and came up to us singing away i was entranced by it all. What a rush is all i have to say. But the heat took its toll on me but it was worth every waking moment! At one point we got pinned and couldn't move an inch, i rem one of my arms being stuck down at my side LOL! I hope that we get a bit of a breeze off the lake at the Molson Amph Concert! since it will be july and summer is in full force heh. I am planning on going extremly early, going to try to catch them during a sound check *Officially Declares it EVCANADIA DAY* lol If anyone is planning on going early to start the Evanescence pre concert show Feel free to message me! The more the merrier! :D

Im really pissed though because when I went to buy tickets I asked for pit, but my mum refused to buy them! :mad: Then I asked for the best seats and the dude gave me 302 seats 21-24. I was there at like 4:10. I just checked Ticketmaster.ca a few nights ago, and It was offering 200 seats I think!! :mad: It cant be true though.. well whatever. you can chack and see if there are any pit tix left...you may be able to trade them in. but I'm not to sure how the system works

I got pit after i went back and complained you actually have to ask for pit tickets they dont come up in the best avaiable found that out the hardway. :p

I'm buying 3 tickets sometime in the next couple of days for the concert. I just checked and it said Best Available for 3 was in the 300's... :S
So, what am I to do? Call a ticketmaster rep directly and ask for 100's that way?
Any advice for better tickets would be appreciated :)

the concert is at the starting end of the tour, so they all wont be worn out from all the other cities :D

well...lets start off with the good news shell we;)

There dosen't seem to be a bad seat in the house....so for those of you in the 300 section, don't be too disspointed. You still get a pritty good view of the stage plus there are two big screens on either side of the stage so you can still see the 'details' of the concert:D sames goes for you people on the lawn. I beliver there are 3 or 4 screens hanging at the top of the theater just before the lawn area starts. It's also very LOUD...hehehe, it's great!! so you won't miss a note!
THE PIT...no, I didn't forget about us moshers :p the pit is actually pritty big and since the stage is also big it's self (if we get there early enough) there should be enough room for all of us to get font and center:D:D and since all the consessions are right before we get into the theator, so a lot of people usually stop to grab something. Also some people don't actually show up till the headliner so all this gives us a better chance to make it to the front!!

To get in....head to the gates of Ontario place, there is a molson box office. Right beside it are the gates into ontario place follow the white gates all the way around and you'r there! and they let you in at a pritty fast pace...I didn't have to wait in line long at all:)

oh and on the screens in between the bands..they kept showing an ad for Ev's concert there!!! Now I'm soooo excited!!!!

I'm soooo freeking tired now...I have to sleep...I haven't been to bed since, well, wed. night. And that's one of the reasons why my spelling sucks right now...although that dosen't give me a reason for all the other times...amyway...PLACE GOOD...BED BETTER :o

now i am EVEN MORE excited about the concert.

i don't think that the pit will be that big. it's only 1000 ppl capacity :) woo hoo!!!!

I didn't stay afterwards and I'll tell you why in my next post ( I would have posted it before but I didn't want to ruin everyones weekend) But I did meet the lead singer and guitarist of Billy Talent...Thay were sooo nice, I got a pic with them:D. but I only met them because they came out through the seating area and didn't go out the back of the theatre.

I'm gonna try and get there early...at the latest by 12. maybe I can even figure out a way to see them.

but..ya, I would love to meet up...right outside of the front of ontario would be the eaisest...near the box office;)

I got there at 12 for edgefest...but that's a 2pm show and I knew not every one was gonna be there for the opener. But for Ev it's going to be different because I KNOW every ev fan out there will want to see Seether as well and A lot of people will want to see 3 days grace so a lot of people may show up early!!

Oh and if ya look for me in line...don't actually walk through the line;) because it's a wide line so it's hard to tell weather it's a large group of people or an actual line.
But I'm thinking of carring something obvious like a canadian flag and waveing it around every once in a while The things I do for the people on this board :p

There seemed to be a lot of people there alredy but when they started letting us in, we got in VERY quickly! so that was good...and the pit didn't seem to fill up too fast....but then again it will most likely be different for Ev.

The people started lineing up just inside of ontario place...you'll see molson as you approach the front gates.

I saw people with rather large back packs in the theater so I don't think you have to check your bag. You were allowed one capped bottle of water, which I suggest you bring because the prices there will gouge the shit out of your wallet. $4.25 for bottle pop and $3.50 for water :mad:

As for cameras...I'm still not too sure. I was able to get my film camera in, but only because I don't think the security saw it when she checked my bag (which is only a mini backpack anyway). But on the way out of the concert I heard security people saying that you can pick up your belts, bracelets and cameras at the tents set up....but security inside the theater saw me taking pictures and didn't do anything. So I think once you're inside it dosen't matter....But Don't take my word on that, it's just a guess. And it really may be different for the Ev concert :confused:

t-shirts were like $10-$25 for girls shirts and $20-$25 for guys shirts, pretty cheap actually, when i went to Ev in december it was like $35 -40 for a tshirt and at the Perfect Circle concert i went to in March/April?? it was like $40 a t-shirt...

yea the shirts at the last ev concert were a lot thats why i didnt get one.. :( but i didnt really look at all the stuff they had, so if they have anything this time i'll try and get something! :D

The will defiently have a sound check I think ev usually checkes around 1 or so...early afternoon anyway. I'm not too sure when every one else will check?!?!

But I don't think there is a way too see the bands. They have a whole parking lot right behind the theatre... and that's just for the big trucks ( I think) Some body told me there is a nother place for the buses....but we can always go 'hunting' for them;)

I think that the edgefest stuff was only cheep because some of the pands wern't really that popular...I think the Ev stuff will still be expensive. and I soo wanted to get a hoddie from the dec show...but I just couldn't afford it :( ....hehehehehe...so I made one for the NY Roseland concert:D

I did too! I've met Shaun Morgan before, and he was cool and signed my punisher soundtrack and we talked a little bit. But I bought Disclaimer II a few days ago and its so awesome and I would luv to get the whole band to sign it! Also, i'd luv to ask Shaun a few questions about his past and his music and stuff. PLUS if its just backstage or something, wouldn't it be possible for, like, other bands to be wandering around... like perhaps Amy Lee of Evanescence or something! Sorry for now being on often everyone! Ive been pretty busy. Well the GC shirts at EdgeFest were like 25$ and id say there almost as popular as Ev. But then again, the whole concert is baiscally about ev for most people so :confused:. We could meet on the left bathroom area on the upper level, by the dudes bathroom (theres a corner). At the edge site they just said that 'evanescence' are coming soon to the edge, whatever that means. But it would be SO awesome if it was soon, and more bandmates came. I'm holdin my breath for an edge update though!

im taking the train going towards oshawa after the concert.. are you taking the 11pm train or the 12am train after the concert??? do you know how long it takes to walk from the molson amphitheatre to the train station??
