Seeing as we've seen outdoor festivals set for Alberta and Saskatchewan, I can't say I'm surprised to see that we've got our FIRST BC SHOW. Let me say, I'm sure I probably won't be the only one making the drive up there.

OMG i am so pissed off, i'm going to Kelowna this summer but like 2 weeks later then the show. I really wanted to go to the one in Camrose but can't cuz the rents won't let me and wow i'm just really upset right now. I saw Kelowna and was like OMG! and then i got all sad when it said july 8th and 9th. Oh well hopefully they'll come back to montreal soon. I feel so deprived.

http://www.thebluff.ca/ <-- another web link, although... again, not a very informative one. ALTHOUGH on the news release PDF file it mentions Seether and The Trews as support acts for Evanescence on Friday the 9th.
Anyone else from this site going? I bought my ticket ($49.50-59.50 Canadian) yesterday... and it's two days after I see them in Vancouver (which I'm sure a few people will check out as well).
This year the festival will be held at an exciting new location on Kelowna's Westside Bluff with a beautiful view of Okanagan Lake, and only 5 minutes from downtown Kelowna. The concert site layout has great visual vantage points for viewing world-class performers...

i took a whole assload of pics, although a friend of mine who was up there took some AMAZING ones, both of Ev's set and also when Amy was out on "Broken".
Exact same set as the Vancouver show, which was kinda disappointing, but not overly surprising. Unlike Vancouver, I was right up front this time, and that made the experience a million times better. Plus my friend realized her lifelong dream of having Rocky Gray smile at her. ;)

Ack I think well have the same set list for awhile lol..at least until they have new stuff ready to play live which probably wont be for awhile :( Who cares though I'm ready to see them again NOW! :p

their concerts are normally 3 hours long, depending on how many bands are playing and such.

let's see... the whole thing in Kelowna started at 6... there were two local bands opening. then The Trews and Seether played, and Ev's set probably went from 9:15-10:15 or so... i'm guessing. I may be wrong on the times there, but I think that's pretty close.

I was at this show and without a doubt, it made my year!. The band was great and Seether was fantastic...And the highlight of the night--Broken. I can't wait to see them again.

OMG. Those are AWESOME. And... I think I know who took those... I'll see if Leelee can attest to this. I think the woman who took those must have been some sort of professional photographer for a local paper or SOMETHING because she was on the other side of the railing from all the fans, and I seem to remember her on a few occasions setting up and taking pics right in front of us.
Pretty damn cool, as I was hoping that at some point (if it's the same person, which I think it is) to see those pics.
