I've never even been much of a metal fan, but I really dig Kill System, much more than some of the other side project bands. I guess its because its got more of a melodic tone than some of the other straight metal appoches the others take.
It just goes to show the range John & Rocky both have.

Ok I was going to be rude but we all know that is just not my style so hopefully every other person who CHOOSES to actually post an opinion will be a positive one :rolleyes: or maybe not. Personally I love it!!! Not just the John factor but I really dig the grooves of the music & the vocals. Even if it wasn't John & Rocky I would love the band - I just love good power grooving bands with great male vocals! :D

well it just didn't really sound like my kind of music, I havent heard so much, but... I have my opinion, and I don't say they suck or anything, this isn't just my kind of music..

No CD is really out... Though sometimes John has some CDRs of their music, with him at the EV concerts. that is you best bet...

Oh wow I just listened to the song that was linked and it's really good....I wish there'd be a way to get that CDR besides straight from John himself, lol.

DAMMMMNN!!! john AND rocky are freakin talented. I just downloaded some of the stuff and it's AWESOME!! I agree with Kev that it's more melodic and less death metalish than his other stuff. I don't know, it's just dark and yeah....good shit. I hope I can find a CD somewhere ;) I guess it'd be kinda hard to promote the band when you're hitched on with Ev right now.
also, are all the vocals done by John? if so, then there's a lot of layering going on...but I just figured it was John during the growling part...cuz I haven't heard anything else from him :D But he's got suuuuch a sweet accent when you talk to him in person. So cute! :oops:

Since the CD-R's are given out freely, why don't they just put the songs on the net? I'd love to hear them, at any rate!!

If you ask, you shall recieve. I am always prepared. By the way, Killsystem is trying out some new avenues and seeing what we could sound like with other vocalists. I just gotta say I've loved all of John's musical efforts. I think he kicked major ass in Mindrage and Killsystem is great too. Seeing him tour with Rocky in Soul Embraced was really exciting as well. He told me about joining Evanescence way back then. . .wasn't until the Daredevil soundtrack came out that I was reminded about that fact. Cool. . .hope John's got some Killsystem stuff handy next time they blow through here.

And as far as the Killsystem stuff, I hope John has some CDs when I see them next because he had none available last time (2/28/04)....although he did say there might be stuff online or something and to just keep an eye out for it? Hmm but yeah, Killsystem stuff rocks too. John's work with Ev and apart from Ev is great :)

I had someone that was gonna help type up the Mindrage ones but doesnt answer my IMs anymore. *shrug*

I totally love it! They really made it onto the list of my favourite band. Shine's my fave. Painting the eyes is really cool as well. Hope John gets out a few more songs on which is actually singing and not just growling and shouting, cause he has an amazingly sexy voice....

What a slacker you are....haha. I <3333 Kill System. John sings so well, it's amazing. Have you ever listened to any Mindrage stuff? It's different than KS, but really awesome anyway. Also, if you ever get a chance..listen to Soul Embraced- Seems Like Forever. John's the vocalist in that song. It's an awwweesome song.
