As Der Fellfrosch said they are finalizing their new material. They just cancelled a few gigs in Wales because they wanted the gigs to be about the new stuff.....and they just weren't ready for it.

Yeah their album 'Fake Sound of Progress' is great!
And there's a new album ('Start Something') coming up, sometime next year.
Already heard the single 'Burn Burn' but it's a bit different than any song on FSoP.
A radio rip can be downloaded on http://www.dragonninja.com - which is a kickass fansite.

They have a great live show, I saw them last weekend. "Last Train Home" is currently the #1 song in the US on the modern rock charts. I have a feeling they're not going to be considered an "indie/small band" for much longer. ;)

I liked their first album cause their sound wasnt so much original it was how they pulled it off. They seem to have traded it that sound in for the more popular emo. Which does really piss me off, sice I'm not a fan of emo.

Since the first time I started hearing them on the radio..I started changing the station. Their songs aren't very good and bore the hell out of me. Just shows the kind of minds we have in our little music society for them to be #1....so many better artists and songs out there. I'm not saying their other songs suck as well..just that what has been recently released is not deserving of the publicity.

'Start Something' is a pretty decent album - sure it's no 'Fallen', but it's better then 99% of the stuff that's out there in the charts nowadays. At least they're not selling the teenage angst angle like Linin Park, and at least they're not selling the 'sk8ter' angle like Good Charlotte or Avril Lavigne. Lost Prophets aren't the greatest band around, and 'Start Something' isn't the best album I've ever heard, but yeah, they're better then most and 'Stat Something' is definatly worth getting.
I'm not too fussed about what their next single will be, it'll be decent whatever it is :D

I have to say I quite like the CDs, but I haven't been that impressed with them as a live band. They were alright supporting Linkin Park, but headlining they weren't that impressive. Admittedly, I only went to see the support bands, but still. I mean, come on, who in their right mind would choose The Bronx and Avenged Sevenfold as support bands?!! They're amazing, both on CD and live! So I spent the 'prophets set talking to the Rev (Avenged's drummer). He was laughing at me cause I started skanking to Last Train Home. Hee hee! :p

I really don't like "Make a Move" or "Burn, Burn" very much, but when I first heard "Last Train Home" I admit I was really into it (mainly for the chorus since it was quite powerfully sang). Haven't heard their album, so I can't comment, but not a bad band. I always thought Lost Prophets were American and The Killers were English... heh, other way round, Ryan.

The Lost Prophets are so cool, though they are one of those bands that once you hear a song all the rest kinda sound alike. But their video of Last Train Home is on Fuse all the time and its soooooooo good (which is why I bought the cd). Hopefully their next cd will be even bigger than Start Somthing.

How can you not mention Sway?!!! There arent many songs ever that could beat that, and thats a fact (though not one i can back up)!
As for the new album, il be honest and say its much better than i had anticipated. Despite the move further into pop territory, the effortlessly glorious choruses mean il be happy to listen to it for er...ever. Ok so it may not be quite as good as Start Something, but its still a blinder!
