I met them today and got my copy of 'A Certain Trigger' signed by all 5 guys, and it was fantastic!

Ah! Finally some recognition for the mighty Maximo Park on evboard. Im now wondering why i hadnt started a thread myself...anyhow the albums awesome. iv got the special edition 2cd version and from it i can tell you theyr awesome live. I always try to catch them when theyr on tv because of lead singer paul's distinctive stage presence...you kinda have 2 see it to know what i mean...or i could just show you a picture, yeh thats a better idea!

Favourite track - Apply Some Pressure

They are doing a UK tour later this year, I am going to the Manchester date on October 1st :)

I listened to Maximo Park's album and I didn't find it all that amazing, to be honest. However, I love the song 'Graffeti!' :D It's become a sort of theme song which my husband and I.

I should have put inverted commas around the word husband. We're not actually married! But we have a lot of special songs and 'Graffeti' is one of them. I sing in French to him. ;)
