Hello!

Lo' everyone, for those of you who read my introductory thread..you will know i consider myself somewhat of a Mod..(and if you don't know what them of are...shame on you!:rolleyes: )..Anyway..the point of this thread is to discuss music, not myself..so back to business..I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good mod rock bands to me? I've recently started in a band playing bass and I would like to..convey..my mod-ness to the group (we've decided on playing punk because by it's very nature you don't need to know how to play..or sing ;) )..So if anyone had any thoughts they would be grately appreciated..:cool:

Examples of Mod Rock (for those of you how don't know..shame! Shame!) would be..most obviously..The Who..and The Jam (who helped kick start the mod scene back into life, there you go, little trivia for you :p )..and less well known examples would be groups like the Undertones..The Kinks..The Ordinary Boys..Things like that..Please voice you may have :)
