Well, we all know that Shrek 2, Hp3, and Spidey Two are coming out this summer. But what about later in the fall, next year even? I myself can't wait for Spongebob, Ring 2, and a Series of Unforunate Events. Also, I can't wait for "Elektra," but that was a bit of a "Duh!" point. It's supposed to come out February next year. What about the rest of you?

Yesss. Nicole Kidman is starring (LOVE HER). Bette Midler, Matthew Broderick, Faith Hill, Christopher Walken, Glenn Close, Jon Lovitz. Lotsa people. Looks like an all-star cast. I've never seen the original, but I'm really interested in this movie... and maybe the fact that Nicole Kidman is my favorite actress in the whole wide world may have something to do with it. :p

The idea for a 'Silent Hill' movie was pitched after the first game sold so well and was met with such great reviews. By the time the second game was released, Konami had enough 'spare cash' to fund a fairly large-budget horror film - 'Silent Hill'. They pitched the idea of making a film of the first game to several film production companies, and this is where they found problems - 'Silent Hill' was simply too scary an disturbing for any movie production company to accept it. As it was, all the big companies out there thought the premise was simply too scary to market and sell well in the film medium. Two companies accepted the pitch under the deal that the script would be a more 'dumbed down' version of the game, but Konami wanted to keep the film script just like the game script - since they already had the game script finished obviously, they intended to just use that and didn't want to change it. In the end they did manage to get one small-time Japanese horror film specialist company behind them, and they did a month-long shoot in Canada recreating several scenes from the game with no-name actors, so they could test to see whether the currently almost unknown production company were up to the challenge, and whether 'Silent Hill' looked okay on film. The scenes they recreated were the opening FMV scene (up to the point where you awaken in the cafe having been attacked in front of the mutilated corpse in the ally) and the scene were 'Lisa' turns into a zombie/demon in the hospital, and lastly the most famous scene, the body falling out the locker in the 'other' school. From this footage Konami decided that the film was looking good and could go ahead, however they were worried that the general public wouldn't like the film and that possibly film critiques would slate it. So they took the small amount of footage they had and showed it to a few select audiences in the USA. The feedback was not good. As previous companies had said, 'Silent Hill' was simply too scary and disturbing in a film-format to be shown. In fact Konami were told by three major American cinema owners that if they did complete their film, it wouldn't matter to them because they'd ban it from being shown in their cinemas anyway. Oh, yeah - and THIS summer I'm eagerly awaiting Harry Potter and Troy.

The only movie I'm looking forward to seeing at the moment is The Day After Tomorrow. They showed a 10 minute preview of the movie last night after That 70's Show, and it looks like it should be pretty cool. Those types of movies interest me but for some reason, it kinda reminds me of The Core. At any rate, I'll be going to see The Day After Tomorrow when it comes out.

Ring 2 I'll probably go see, and this is the first I've heard of another Ring movie being released. I loved the first one, so I'm definately going to have to see the second one.

Karen Black who played Mother Firefly will not be returning and neither will (can't remember his name) The dude who played Rufus (RJ) But on a lighter note "Baby"/ Sheri Moon, and "Otis"/ Bill Mosely, and "Captain Spaulding"/Sid Haig will all grace us with their demented, genius minds once again. YAY!!!!! :D

it comes out today and it's gotten mostly B-ish ratings so far. 4/5, whatever. just good basically. being that i'm broke and just borrowed $21, therefore making me have a total of..gasp...$24 :rolleyes: i might see it today, or otherwise, Colorz of Rage (old movie but still)..

I have to admit it... Im looking foward to Miss Congeniality 2...I own the first one and watched it over 100 times (sadly im not exagerating... I really watched it a lot) And I still havent seen Harry Potter 3, Stepford Wives and I want to see Anchorman. ::sigh:: A trip to the movie theatre is long over do.

I want Pirates of the Caribbean 2!!! *sulks like a baby* tis supposed to be out sometime next year and eeeeee..I can't wait :D *drools* Keira, Orlando and Johnny all in a movie together...*fans self*

Pirates of the Caribbean 2. The first was so damn cool, Depp was a really good choice for the part.

Spidey 2 (it's out at the cinemas now). I've heard the radio ad for it, and it sounds as good as the first one.

Resident Evil 2. I don't need to say anything else.

I'm quite excited about the Village and now that I hear about the Ring 2 I am excited about that too! Oh and also Hero and The House of Flying Daggers (a.k.a. Lovers)

I can't wait for the next Xfiles movie............(I know, I'm a dork,what-ever). It should be out by 06. It's about time they made one.

I kind of want to see "The Village" and Spongebob. I'm going to take a friend to that movie. My parents said I could see spongebob with myself and a friend. I can't wait for it!!!!

I watched Hero on DVD and it ticked me off. Can't wait to see it in a theatre.

Great movie but the closing scroll was in chinese and not captioned, so I *think* I know how it ended but I'm not sure. :)
