Sometime around May I want to sing a cover for "My Immortal" at this concert thing that my school does every year, but I want to split it into two parts: a female part (that would be the original song) and a male part (a seperate bass part). I would sing the bass. Anyway, I came up with a quick bass part and added it to the ORIGINAL "My Immortal" and now I need some of you to tell me what you think of it. =/ And if you don't like it, tell me.

Here It Is! (http://www.purevolume.com/cyle)

Haha, if you do like it, on the other hand, I'll have to find someone nearby who can sing somewhat similarly to Amy. =P Thanks =)!

oh wow! that was really good! You know what? Now I feel like composing a four part SATB a cappella verrsion of the song... wish me luck!

I really like it! It sounded a little busy with the "I would give the very breath from my chest..." part. Maybe to an audience that didn't know the song... they wouldn't notice it - I was probably focusing on the lyrics too much.

It kinda gave the song a new meaning... like the person on the otherside felt exactly the same way. I cried a little.

Ooh, I liked it a lot. Except I'm going to agree with Darko, that part in the beginning feels a bit busy/crowded.

Otherwise, besides giving the song even more emotional strength, the two vocal parts also go well together, they sound pleasing to the ear. Well, at least they sound pleasing to my ears, hehe. I enjoyed it a lot. Good luck with finding the right girl to perform this with. :)

Haha, yeah. That's going to be so difficult. I have a couple girls in mind, though.

Thanks you guys! I think I'll work on it a bit more, find someone who can play the piano well (maybe try to mix and combine this piano version with the newer versions), and talk to the choir directors about performing it. Wish me luck, lol.

Good luck Cyle! I'm sure you don't need it. :) When you perform this there will not be a dry eye in the HOUSE.
