I love nothing more than running around with my digital camera. I just like taking photos of things I see. But, recently people have been telling me that they LOVE my photos, and I could win amateur contests. I don't think they are that great, but hey, who doesn't love an ego boost. So, for right now I will post some of my most recent stuff, and stay tuned for some older stuff.
I have to say that second picture made me stop and oogle it for a few minutes.
It's amazing, I've never been to manhattan, or New York for that matter, maybe some day. Alot of people told me it's humongous, but wow that photo made me realize these people were not exaggerating. The wonders of a city in the rain. :)

Yeah, it's sad. Because 5 years ago that last photo would have had the Twin Towers in it.
It's a 5 Megapixel Canon PowerShot A95. It's my BF's, but he never uses it.
FL: Manhattan is actually the smallest borough in the USA. There's just so much stuff in it!

Aw. Such a shame about the Twin Towers. :( I bet they were quite a sight to see. I saw them myself when I visited New York, but I was so young I can hardly remember anything I saw there.
Haha I used to "steal" my fiancé's camera and take pictures of everything all the time. I just love taking pictures of things too.

I love places like that... I've never been but I have a small obsession, lol. My fave photos are the second and the last one.. for reasons alrady given. I love storms.. and have never seen images other that places like here in England.. so it's cool =)

I love thirdsecond one. The angle its shot at makes it appear as if the entire city is about to keel over. Also through the haze it all looks almost organic, as if the city were formed in rock.
I don't see how you can say there's nothing special about your photos though. You were able to recognise the potential for beauty in a storm and then capture it where as most people would just grumble about the crappy weather. Whats not special about that?

I was goofing around with the camera this weekend, taking different perspective shots from different focii. I like these two (will upload more later when I have time). One shows the flower in focus, and the other the ground behind it.
I love the blue angels too. I went to my navy "A" school in Pensacola, FL and we would watch them practice all the time. So much fun. Love the pics by the way.
