I've finally decided to post some pictures of mine that I thought people might like to see. I have been interested in photography for several years and recently traded my Canon Rebel 2000 for a Canon Digital Rebel, which I think is a great camera. I hope to add to my pics every so often, but here's a few to start.
Some are from Europe this summer, where I spent 3 weeks studying abroad and some are from a motocross national race in August in Minnesota. I'm a huge moto fan and love taking pictures at the races because of the great amount of color involved and interesting subjects. I have manipulated many of them in photoshop (which I always thought was wrong to do, but now I love it!), but not to a great extent. I welcome all comments, compliments, and criticisms! Thanks for looking!

I love your style, it's very unique and artistic. I believe your photos are capturing exactly what it is that needs to be caputred and more. The perspectives you're using are extremely effective and I admire your techniques.
Well done... I don't even want to critique on them, because they're fabulous, I think. Keep it up and post more.
End.

More pictures from Europe this summer (what an amazing experience!). I have so many more pictures, but I just got my nice digital and all the others are film versions. I'm too lazy to scan them! Maybe I'll get around to it sometime soon...

I have some more motocross photos to add to my collection on here. They are pretty difficult to take, especially the action shots, because it's hard to get a nice clear shot of someone jumping or even just riding. So, with that disclaimer, here they are!

Great photos! I'm jealous of your camera. I'm holding out for a D20 and a good telephoto lens. For now I'll have to stick to my Powershot 70.
Anyway, great color on the motocross shots. Did you use any filters to get them to pop like that? Also, ever experiment with using a flash for sports. I'm wondering if it couple shots with the sky in the background could've been better illuminated. I don't know if the flash could keep up witht he shutterspeed though.
Anyway, cool stuff.

Nice! Yours seem different to others I've seen, like a unique style. And you have a great range of different subjects too, great!

Thanks for the compliments and suggestions! As far as your question about the filters, no, I didn't use any filters on the camera. I did mess with the hue/saturation on photoshop a little, though. I haven't done too much with a flash either; I agree with you on the shutterspeed issue. Here's a couple more pics, too...

Hey everyone,
Here are some more pictures from my Europe trip. The first two are from the Dachau concentration camp, the night one is from on top of the Eiffel Tower, and the other is of Neuschwanstein castle in Germany.
Hope you enjoy!

Wow, I haven't updated this in forever and people are still looking at my stuff-awesome!! Thanks for the compliments, I appreciate it. No, I don't really have a portfolio, but that's a good idea and something I should look into. I should be posting some new pics sometime in the next couple months when I get more time to actually get out there and take some pictures! Thanks again for the comments!

Here's a few more new pics. Nothing amazing, but I like taking pictures of fireworks and I just saw some Saturday night, so here are a couple that I liked the best. The other picture is of the clocktower on our campus with the fireworks smoke around it. All I had with me was my little digital point and shoot, so they're not that great quality compared to if I would have had my nice camera, but oh well. Let me know what you think!
