Hi guys!

I've been practicing some songs in order to find what suits me better. My friends have convinced me to start a band with them and we're just finding what sounds best. I've posted 2 new songs on YouTube and I'd like you to help me decide what type of songs sound better. Feel free to listen to the other ones and compare them. Also, request songs that you think will be good for me to sing.

As a huge fan of Our Farewell, I think overall you did an awesome job on it. Especially since it's a hard song to sing, and you sound amazing. To be able to sing like that a capella is a talent that I envy.

These songs sound really great. But are you sure that it will sound really good with the instruments or on the stage? I mean, I like your singing very much, but can your voice be strong enough? Singing acapella and singing as a vocalist are different things :)

I don't really think my voice is strong enough to sing in a stage, but I'd have to try to see how it sounds... although I'd probably get stage fright :(

Anyway, you will always be able to sing for people their favourite songs :rolleyes: I like it, I want more! Em... Maybe I am being unceremonious... but do you know any Lacuna Coil songs? I will be very pleased to hear Swamped or Falling Again :rolleyes::) :blush:

Is it just me or does the piano at the start of Like You sound almost exactly like the intro for Our Farewell?
Oh and please try Restless, its my favourite WT song. I think their ballads would really suit your voice, maybe something like All I Need?

I think you sang all of the Ev songs really well, but especially Even In Death. You're really good!

Ok, so I've listened to Like you which is a touching song and not very difficult to sing, but it seems that you have a problem with breathing. You HAVE to learn how to breath properly before you decide to actually sing. Therefor you've cut up all the songs you sang in to peaces, and that doesn't sound good, because it looks like you either don't know how the song goes, or like you're gonna collapse at any moment... And, also you have to control your voice so that it doesn't break when you're making a change in pitch. In Solitary Ground you did well, but again the breathing, and the thing I've noticed is that your voice seems to break a lot in this song. I don't really like falsetto, so that's the most important remark I have about your singing(along with breathing).

My favorite has to be Give Unto Me...
I love your voice and everything, but I'm not sure if this music is quite your genre. You have a high sweetness in your vocals and I would love to hear you perform a soft romantic acoustic. But I must say, you certainly know how to bring something down into your style. I love that it still has this haunting ring to it, but at the same time it has this lulling effect to it. I don't even know how to describe your voice! I guess you're the type of voice that I would stop by and listening to immediately if the second I hear it.
Good job, I envy your singing skills, keep it up, I'll be back for more!
