From almost 1400 - 1814 Norway was constantly ruled by other countries as denmark and Sweden..before that we had a language quite simular to Icelandic, but during that period when we were ruled By denmark the lanaguge changed to become very much like danish in writing.. then when we were free again some idiot called Ivar AAsen decided to make a langauge called New Norwegian..

more of a mix between the old and danish.. he wanted all the ppl in Norway to talk like that, but that didnt happen. There is a constanc argument going on if we should have New Norwegian and regular Norwegian as the main lanaguage. they aint very different, but a lot of words aer different.. and they way you pronounce it.

We have to learn to write this correctly.. and its some idiotic shitty thing..no one ever uses it after they graduate.
