good thing on the presale date: many Ev fans like Within Temptation and After Forever too, and might be at Appelpop that day...so 3 options:
1: they can't buy their tickets at first because they're at the festival
2: they all go to a presale point in Tiel, where the festival is
3: they won't go to the festival so they can buy Ev tickets
or they let someone else order their tickets..
conclusion: there are (even if its just a little) fans who can't buy their ticket at first due the festival.

In front of Paradiso!! Hehee... we can just hang out, someone could bring an MP3 player with little portable speakers and we could just sorta have a picknick. Leidseplein is near and there are lots of shops there, also places where you can get food (eg burger king and other takeaways). I've done it before and it's fun. Might even be able to see them arrive, or hear the soundcheck if you stand at the door at the side of the building.

Sounds more like school :p But then I also love the idea, so this is cool :) But I think I'm gonna go and do some shopping here in town, or that day in the supermarket near my school (2 periods off after each other: so relaxing!). If I take my schoolbag with me, I will have enough room to put food in it... :mrgreen:

i know there isn't anyone left on evboard who was at the gig
but for everybody who cares, here you go:




we arrived at the paradiso venue around 2.30 pm
and 15 minutes later i saw Jack (mourningside) working his ass off, he told me to wait for him a few minutes
few minutes became a few hours but in the mean while we hang out with Tim for almost an hour
he's really awesome, we talked about all kinds of stuff and yes tim, ninja's rule \m/
after that terry came out, some of the fans who were standing close to us asked him for a pic, but he had to take a shit (in his words) because he wasn;t allowed to do that on the bus, lol
before tim came out i got the chance to chat a little with John... then we saw amy walking around but i didn't felt like calling out for her, because around the corner of the building there were already like 50 fans waiting in line, and i didn't wanted them storm over to 'our side' of the venue and scare amy away
so after we took our pics with terry we kinda took our place in line and waited for the door to open
i was looking around to see if some of my friends already arrived and suddenly i notice Jack standing in the crowd, looking for me
he apologized for not coming out earlier, it was a chaos inside, i told him it was ok, i was happy he came out anyway... we chat a little and then he asked me for directions to the nearest brger king...

after the doors opened i got me a hoodie (not the girlie one)
we got s spot on the third row, between terry and amy (which pretty much sucked when amy was playing on the huge piano, couldn't see a damn thing)
revelation theory started a few minutes later and gosh, they totally surprised me, they totally rock!

well we all know the playlist already and stuff
so i'm gonna skip the ev-gig
although i like to add, that it was truly the best ev concert i've ever seen
words can't discribe how crazy the crowd was, even the band made that clear
rocky had the biggest smile i've ever seen the entire show, couldn't see john and tim very well, but at one point even amy said it...
it was the first concert were she had problems hearing herself cause everybody was screaming so loud and she said something about being surprised that everybody knew to words to the new song... well not everybody, i didn't knew all the words...

about 45 minutes/an hour after the show rocky came out and then tim, john & terry
a little later amy made her appereance (sp?)
it got really crowded when she came out, so me and ixion went over to rocky who was standing on the other side of a van
we got a pic with him, and then i asked him to sign a pic from Mourningside @ juanita's
"see i knew you looked familiar!" and then jack came out to say goodbye and he said to rocky, that's sas
rocky: yeah i know!
that felt good

in the mean while, the security people chased everybody away who got a close encounter with amy, so i saw my oppertunity to get closer to her, she totally recognized me again '[insert girly sqeeuking 'Heeeeey!!!' in here] It's so good to see you again" and then we hugged
i got nothing to sign on me, and amy was like: well you have seen my autograph before and you got a bunch of them, but i'll sign your hand anayway... i thought that was really nice, to bad we weren't allowed to take piccies, but hey i got my hug, so no complains here!

so that was pretty much it...

I couldn't hear much of Amy's voice because everyone was singing so loud, but it still rocked. Did you notice that Terry filmed us during Good Enough?

After the concert I got my cd signed by everyone except Terry (it was really stupid, because there wasn't much room and all the people who were at the front wouldn't leave and let other people have their things signed too.:rolleyes: ) When Amy finally came I somehow managed to get through all the people and suddenly stood right in front of her. :D She signed my cd too and I also got a hug from her. :D And I looooved her comment about the difference between Dutch and German, that was really funny! :D
