Well, for those of you who have NTL Broadband, you'll be happy to know that they're increasing their speeds again. Not long ago we went from 500K to around 800K without paying anything extra. This time it's going to 2MB! And all we have to pay is a one-off £25 administration fee...

Should be good. It's about time Britain caught up with the rest of the world for internet speeds; virtually everyone I talk to in America has 2MB connections at least.

that's nice and all but i don't think we can get ntl broadband here yet... still. meh. only bt broadband last time i checked. ours is 500k or so... and mine's only half that speed cause of the crappy wireless lan we have. oh joy. *goes to look around ntl site*

yeah well, my 1/4 mb connection is still faster than yours, blitz :p
*goes off to pester his dad about proper networking* nah he doesn't want wires around the house, hmm *thinks about wires for sky digital etc* bah!
ah well, it only matters when i wanna download big files, like those ev vids on whisperedvoices, etc.
