I have Seen TOOL 2 times, A Perfect Circle 2 Times, System of a Down 1 Time, Nine Inch Nails 1 Time, Eminem 1 Time, 50 Cent 1 Time, D12 1 Time, Cold 1 Time, I see TOOL again September 22nd, and Now I See Evanescence October 13th.

I am extremely excited, as this will be my first Ev concert! :D

The STATE THEATRE is really small. I would guess it's to reward the fan's who follow closely. The presale say's the 16th but theirs no info on that. If the tickets are only $25.00 it will sell out quick.

Floor does not have seats and that's where the pits are at. I don't do that crap.

It's closer than the balcony 1, balcony 2 and the lodge. I can't stand the floor though. I would rather enjoy the show from a little bit of distence then get hot and sweaty on the floor. I mean when the whole floor is GA and the only seats are Mezz, Balcony 1, Balcony 2, and lodge you really don;t have much of a choice if you want to sit. lol.

The only thing i can think off is the MEZZ Box A Row 1. They are not bad at all but on an angle. Good seats. The 3d View looks nice.

The people who say the mezz is far away it is not that bad. Seriously you want to see far away seats sit in the upper deck at the palace in the last row for a pistons game. lol.

Mezz and Floor are the best. Floor if you like to mosh and Mezz if you like to have a good view and relax and enjoy. Balcony 1 and Balcony 2 and Lodge are decent.

The lodge is further away then the Mezzanine. I have heard the Mezzanine is way better than the lodge. I was thinking they were about the same but i know people who have sat in the Mezzanine and they said it was 10 times better than when they sat in the lodge.

Sweet! I wanted to go the Godsmack concert @ DTE. But didn't know nothing about it until it was too late to get pavillion seats. And I'm not even trying to get ripped off on Ebay paying triple the price or anything.

Yeah, I have never been to DTE. I have not heard good things about that venue. I really am not fond of outdoor venues to begin with. I saw Nine Inch Nails at The Joe so i did not need to see them at DTE. I saw System of a Down at The Joe also and I did not need to see them at DTE for ozzfest either.

I've only been to DTE once. That was for Evanescence' last concert visit. It was pretty sweet. But I know exactly what you mean by Not liking outdoor venues. It did kinda suck sitting on the lawn. I'd much rather have been sitting under the pavillion. But oh well. this will be my first time at the State theatre

Got mine in the mail today too... anyone want to guess at how big the lineups will be? The other time I saw Evanescence was at Arrow Hall in Mississauga which is freakin huge and awful... The lines were crazy. I had a friend who lined up for four hours, and there were still like 100 people ahaed of her.

I'll camp out if I have to.. but next time they come I'm going, and I'm going to be in the first row. But its okay, I'll get the CD and wait until they come next time, its totally worth it.

Nope 2001 Tool played State Theatre. They played the Fox theatre this year and they sold out in 5 Minutes. I got tickets to that show.

My tickets came in last week. I was very excited to see them. My roommate even called me at work to tell me that they were in. That made the rest of my day fly by. My boss told me today that I can leave work at 12:00 the day of the concert... how cool is she?!

What website did you get your tickets from? $100 seems pretty pricey. Did you buy them off of Ebay? Section GA.. hm.. not sure where that is. I have main floor tickets and they say MNFL. Hopefully yours will be more specific when you receive them.

Your tickets are for Main Floor. So you'll be standing all night. As for the cameras... If it says no cameras, then do not bring one. They will make you take it back to your car or throw it away or something before entering. Most concerts do not allow cameras to be admitted.

35 DAYS TO GO! Just a quick question, I have MNFL tickets, and I was wonering, If everyone has to stand in one place, or are we allowed to try to get to the front?

It's been several years since I've been to a large-scale concert like this. I very well may explode with joy with the opening chord.

OMG, the days ARE coming lower and lower...I am so pumped to see them, I just want to meet them sooo bad....I will basically do ANYTHING to get a backstage pass (that is, if there ARE any) I am so excited, I've been sketching EvPics ever since school started for art class...and I am getting 100% EVERY SKETCH!!! I am so motivated to meet them.....AAAHHH The suspense is killing me!!!

Doors at 6:30, I would imagine the opening band is on at 8 and Evanescence at 9:30.

Sooo at the last Detroit concert we all wore red bandanas somewhere on our BODS. Are we gonna try anything cool like that this time? I heard talk of Evboard nametags? Can anyone explain? Hah.. it's been ages since I've been active here.

Also, we should all definitely meet up after or before or something! At the last concert we were SOOO late so we missed the first 30 minutes or so and meeting everyone.

I HAD to get my best friend and I tickets.. we've been fans since we heard Evanescence, and we went to their last concert and I HAD to get us there this time! So I definitely paid the ebay bitch price, but it's so worth it.

Definite no on the cameras, they made me throw mine out last year and if you try to sneak them in, there's the possibility that they won't let you in (some poor kid last year had two on him.. i think one was his friends or something.)

Last year they were handing out coupon type things after the show to random people, and whoever got one got to get in and meet the band for about an hour afterwards. I'm not sure if they're doing the same thing or not.. but that would be sweet..

LASTLY! haha.. I am making Amy a corset before the concert.. do any of you suppose I'd have trouble getting it in? Or any idea how I could get it to her?

ugh I just found out theyre sold out.. no wonder I couldnt find any available.. Michigan venues seem to be notorious for not allowing cameras... none are allowed in pine knob (DTE) either... I dont understand why though

I always seem to have the worst luck with this stuff so I really hope this doesnt turn out to be their last tour.. Id be so sad

There's still plenty of tickets on eBay, if you don't mind paying about 2/3 times the amount they were.. :rolleyes: I did because like you said, who knows if this will be their last tour?

Hehe - 21 days to go! One of my friends who is going will be 18 in 18 days, and then we're ("we" being her older brother, my bestest friend, and myself) taking her to the concert.

I read somewhere that they have a 3 album deal I think it was a magazine article.. so I really hope thats not broken and its not their last tour... $25 I can afford because Id have to drive 5 hours to go see it.. but I cant afford 3 times that then take the trip.
