Hey, I'm hoping that some of you PSP experts can help me.
I have 2 problems:

On my computer I have PSP versions 5 and 7. Don't ask me why, but I feel more comfortable working in PSP5, so that's the one I always use. Although a while ago, something happened to the text tool, where whenever I use it, the letters become rough around the edges, and with most fonts, makes it very hard to read (and just looks really messy). So what I do now is make my images in 5, copy/paste them into 7 and then add text there.
Does anybody know why this is happening with 5? It just started all of a sudden and I can't figure out why.
-I've attached an example that compares text from both 5 and 7

Ok, my next problem. This is with the text tool in PSP7.
(What are the chances of them both screwing up, huh?)
This one is ok for the most part... but now I'm having a problem where some fonts don't work. I haven't gone through every single one, but I have tried a lot of different ones, and with some of them, I get an error message and the program crashes.
-I've attached a screen shot of the message
Or sometimes I don't get the message and PSP7 just shuts down.

If anybody could help me with any way to fix this, I would really appreciate it.
This is such a pain.

Look for checking "Antialias" in the tool options. That should fix the jaggedness of the text.

As for the font error thing, I'm not sure why that would happen. Do the fonts that don't work in PSP work in other programs?

Thank you!!! *reps*
Fixed the problem with PSP5. And I tested a couple of the fonts that didn't work in 7, and they work in 5. So that's not really a problem anymore since I can add any text with PSP5.
(Still, it would be nice if I knew how to fix 7, but it's no big deal)

Thanks again

x
