Yes, i'm back, oh how it feels SO GOOD !!!!!!
but with questions. First, in the song The poet and the Pendulum, there are some whispered words, that til now i can't decipher them well, so i guess that the leizzure in this forum is big(about the time in internet),and that is an indication that here i can find the answer.
Second: There is a rumor about a supposed romance between TUOMAS AND ANETTE !!
but my reaction was: isn't that nettie is married ??, i didn't understand anything.
Third: Tuomas is dating with Jonsu from Indica, if is true, i can understand why i felt so sad after the operation, because i went to a website days after.

Alright, the first question I can answer easily...the whispers are the beginning of TPATP are the same as what the boy soprano sings during "The Pacific" only they're backwards and somewhat scrambled. And now for some of my own randomness!

I'm working on a story based off the ideas in Sahara, and I really, really love the way that it's turning out. If anyone wants to read what I have so far, let me know and I'll post up a link in here for you.

And I'm also trying to figure out if it's at all possible for myself and a couple of my friends to head to London in March to see the last concert for the DPP tour. I've wanted to go to the UK for awhile now, and I have a lot of friends over in Europe, plus I would *kill* quite literally to be at the last show to support this amazing album, so I'm really, really hoping that it will work out for me!

When you think about it, it wouldn't be such a great thing for Tuomas and Nettie to be together. What if something goes wrong and they're not together anymore? The breakup would cause awkwardness and bitterness amongst the band members and they'll just be in chaos like before.

I'm going to try to set Tuomas up with another nice, gothic, Swedish woman.

Maybe he doesn't want a Swedish woman? Is Vibeke Stene single? Or Mariangela Demurtas? Charlotte Wessels? Ailyn from Sirenia? Oooh, Monika Pedersen...

i'm so sorry, i'm almost SURE that the "thing", like i wrote before is JONSU, from a band that sucks, INDICA. Oh and is the girl with the red hair, yes it is. There are some supposed pictures around finland, please, please that won't be true, but in other case now i understand why TUOMAS IS THE PRODUCER !. Now you can imagine a lot of things. And don't waste your time, indica is a POP-GIRL BAND.

You are right, however, I do think it would be a good idea for Nettie and I to get together...:rockon:

I just realised that I have the same kind of leggings that Nettie wore in BBB. Those three quarter length ones? I have those they are not the same but very similar....AND! I have a top almost idential to the one she wore. I'm so happy now all I have to do is work on my butt and I'll be able to perfect that dance!!!

I might mention the head wiggle - has anyone seen her do the head wiggle? When she moves her body like she does she moves her head too while she's singing...makes me laugh it's just so funny.:D

I refuse to listen to any songs Nettie has sung that were sung by Tarja. Not because I don't like her, she has an okay voice, but I don't like the idea of her - anyone, for that matter - taking another artists songs and trying to sing them. She needs to stick with the songs that were written specially for her and her voice, IMO.

Princess Mary: I was a bit worried about how Anette would interpret the old songs, at first, but her voice is so different that most of them really feel like completely different songs. I'm completely in love with her version of "Sleeping Sun" (of course, I love that song to pieces anyway...I think anyone could sing it and it would still bring tears to my eyes...). Of course, I'd rather they not rerecord any of the old stuff in the studio, but hearing it live in concert is purely awesome :)

To me...it doesn't matter who is singing...as long as Tuomas' words are heard and brought to life. Isn't that all that really matters? I mean...the older songs were never "Tarja's" songs; they've always belonged to anyone who wished to sing them. They were written by Tuomas so, if anyone should claim them at all, it should be the Maestro. Okay, so the older songs were written for her to sing. They were not written specifically for her because they are Tuomas thoughts and feelings.

I love both Eras personally. Both are amazing women with incredible voices, interpreting Tuomas' words in their own way. Tarja has pure power in her voice while Anette has passion and brings forth emotions in some of the older songs that aren't present when I hear Tarja sing them. I'm not dissing either one, because I love them both.

There is a brilliant icon I found once that I think everyone in this thread should look at it because it's VERY true

We still love Tarja but there is no point stirring up trouble with your p-o-v.

And again, they aren't "Tarja's" songs. They are written to be shared with the world and if anyone should claim them at all, then it should be the songmaker, Tuomas. The songs were written for her to sing, but not just for her. I mean, fans sing along with her when she performs right? Tarja has toured? I know she is starting writing a new album and has been writing her own songs which she is very happy about. I haven't heard about a tour though, but if she did tour...Australia would be her first stop!

Why, they're Toumas's intellectual property, not Tarja's. She was given the privilege to sing them and now that privilege has been handed to Annette. None of the songs were written specifically for Nettie anyway so by that logic the band couldn't even tour DPP.

I love Nettie's take on a lot of the older songs. I wish they'd rerelease all their albums with her vocals but sadly I know that's not gonna happen.

Sorry but there's no point to discuse about this: Tarja is a LYRIC SINGER, and ANETTE IS A POP SINGER, so you can even make a comparation between them. The band, or even better, TUOMAS, chose a different style, more close to the people, warm, and not cold, like he said about the voice of Tarja:" Tarja is the best in her career and singing, there's no discussion about that, but HER VOICE IS COLD, that is the difference between Tarja and Anette, WE ARE HAPPY WITH ANETTE". So they are good singers, working for the music,and just that, no one is better or bad singer;).

The musicians that are one of the best, Kiko Loureiro(played the guitar on her album), some of living color, and other names i don't remember, but are classic musicians :)!!!!!!!!

no one is saying it is the same nightwish. it is a new nightwish with a good sound and yes TALENT nettie or annette who cares what people want to call her. i like the new nightwish and i like the old nightwish. while tarja had a great voice annette's is fresh and brings something entirely new to the lyrics a new life.

If the "new" Nightwish irritates you so much because of Anette, then why bother posting in this thread? Why not go post your praises about Tarja in the thread solely about her?

In my opinion, being a true Nightwish fan means embracing both eras and being able to love and respect both vocalists. You have to keep in mind that she was hired for the position of singer for Nightwish for a reason. If the boys believe she has talent and Tuomas is happy for her to sing his songs, which includes the songs from the Old Era, then where is the problem?

Okay. So you don't like her singing the songs that Tarja once had ever right to sing. That right, that privelege, has now been passed to Anette and she's giving it her best to show the world what she's got. If you don't like how she sings the old songs, simply don't listen to them. Problem solved.

I love Tarja and I do think there are some songs that Nettie (again, fuck you ) can't replace her on, but their are others she completely brings to life. I much prefer Nettie rendition of Dark Chest of Wonders, Wishmaster and Dead to the World among others. No she doesn't have Tarja's range and immense vocal talent and never will but her voice has other qualities which gives different character to the music. No it's not the same, but just because it's not the same doesn't mean it's bad.

And have you been to a NW concert this tour, have you seen Anette Ozlon on stage? She is un-freaking-believable. I have never seen a singer bring so much energy and spirit and joy to their performance. It was just a pleasure and a privilege to watch and I cannot wait to get another opportunity to experience that again.

You can think what you want about Anette, I understand how she can seem like a disappointment next to Tarja I really do. But don't act like she's committing some kind of crime for doing what she was hired to do; sing Nightwish songs and don't you dare try and abuse us for liking it.

First of all, if you're going to correct people, at least do so properly. It's Anette, not Annette.

Second, although I realize that this point has already been made, the songs are Tuomas', no one else's. Yes, Marco and Emppu have helped to write some of the music, but at the core, they belong to Tuomas, as they are his words, his emotions, his thoughts-an extension of his heart and soul that he has chosen to share with the world. It's up to him who he wants to sing them; in the past, it was Tarja, and now it's Anette. But at the root of it all, it's still Nightwish, because Nightwish is Tuomas. Without his lyrics, you would have nothing.

Third, Tarja and Anette are so completely different that it's senseless to keep trying to compare them. Tarja has a voice that no one can ever match, she's technically perfect in every way, and manages to send chills down my spine even when she sings the heavier songs like "Feel For You" or "Bare Grace Misery" because there's just something...haunting...about her vocals. Anette has a passion in her voice that is undeniable, and in my opinion, unequalled by anyone I have ever heard before, especially Tarja. She has a very soulful quality in her voice, and her interpretations of the "old Era" songs are done in such a way that they truly do become completely different songs with a whole new range of emotions. I love them both equally, but I do realize that everyone is entitled to their opinion.

As far as writing the songs "for Tarja" or "for Anette" (and this is where I wish I could find where I read this again) Tuomas himself has said that he never wrote any of the songs specifically for Tarja's voice, but for a "ghost voice", because he couldn't always hear Tarja singing them as they were written. That would be why songs like "Stargazers" were rarely performed live, because some of the notes were just too high for Tarja to sing comfortably. Do you really think he would have done that if he had written them FOR her and her alone? I would imagine it will be the same way with Anette. Yes, he will be able to keep in mind what she is capable of, but she will also have to adapt her voice to what he has written, at least to some extent.

Basically what it comes down to, for me at least, is that I've been a Nightwish fan from the beginning, and I'm simply thankful for the fact that once Tarja was gone they managed to find a singer who is talented, passionate, and fits in with the rest of the band so that we, as fans, still have the magic of the music we've come to love. Nightwish is Nightwish, and that spirit is still there and always will be as long as Mr. Holopainen is writing the songs, the band is there to play them, and there's an amazing vocal talent to breathe life into the words.

OMG what is with all the Tarja vs Anette crap again. I remember when I started this thing not too long ago, but then I actually listened to DPP and for me yes it was a huge disappointment, but there are some good songs in there. I dont think new Nightwish is as good because Kristen is right when she said the band isn't always going to be the same with a new lead singer. It's hard to get used to especially when people are used to Tarja.
I will always prefer Tarja over Anette, but Anette isnt that bad I will admit. She seems to bring fun and energy into the new songs and in the video clips she looks like she is having the time of her life. Tarja never smiled, never did the hip wiggle like Anette does. Tarja was always very serious when she sang -in all the video clips with her in them have you ever seen her smile? How many clips have you seen Anette looking like she's on a high? That girl is so full of energy it's not funny. She's bright and fun loving and Tarja wasn't any of that because she was always so serious. Tarja has said that she never smiled in promo photos of the band because she was told not to. The 'serious' look was her image and the way they marketed her, I guess. With Anette its different. New singer, new attiude. The music isnt as good I would prefer, but new Nightwish is still listenable, it just takes patience to get into.

I said million times already, to million people... I do prefer Tarja's voice over Anette's... But I also prefer Anette's attitude over Tarja's. Maybe Tarja was told not to smile, but it doesn't matter in the end. I still prefer Anette's energy... She just brought something new to Nightwish... not only with her voice, but with HER.
And that new is something I really like. Maybe I don't like DPP like I LOVED the old Nightwish stuff, but I accept it as it is.
There is no more Tarja in new Nightwish, and I don't see the point of all Tarja vs. Anette stuff.
You just CAN'T compare them. They're too different, in million ways. The only thing that's the same is that they both are/were Nightwish singers.

Wait, did someone say that they heard DPP and it just "wasn't Nightwish?" Lolz that's funny. Nightwish isn't Tarja. If anything, Nightwish is Tuomas, lol. He wrote DPP, so it's still Nightwish music... You can't expect every album to be exactly the same, especially after the time they went through. As for new Nightwish I do agree because I myself prefer Tarja way more than Anette but I don't think Anette is all that bad. I just refuse to listen to any of the songs she is singing that Tarja once sang because I prefer to remember them as Tarja sung them. New Nightwish songs I will be happy to listen to. DPP is not that good an album IMO but there are some catchy songs in there - especially BBB and Amaranth and Meadows of Heaven is really nice too.
Give Anette a chance to find her feet. Tarja has her solo career now and IMO she is able to spread her wings and is so much better than she was when she was actually in Nightwish, she has the freedom to do whatever she wants now.

Now back on topic...did anyone think the video to BBB was a littlw weird at the start? Like when I first saw it I saw these hot chicks with long hair playing drums and guitars and I wondered whether it was actually the right video even though it said it was, then the chicks turned into guys and back to chicks again!!!:D

I love Tarja and I do think there are some songs that Nettie (again, fuck you ) can't replace her on, but their are others she completely brings to life. I much prefer Nettie rendition of Dark Chest of Wonders, Wishmaster and Dead to the World among others. No she doesn't have Tarja's range and immense vocal talent and never will but her voice has other qualities which gives different character to the music. No it's not the same, but just because it's not the same doesn't mean it's bad.

And have you been to a NW concert this tour, have you seen Anette Ozlon on stage? She is un-freaking-believable. I have never seen a singer bring so much energy and spirit and joy to their performance. It was just a pleasure and a privilege to watch and I cannot wait to get another opportunity to experience that again.

You can think what you want about Anette, I understand how she can seem like a disappointment next to Tarja I really do. But don't act like she's committing some kind of crime for doing what she was hired to do; sing Nightwish songs and don't you dare try and abuse us for liking it.

Second, although I realize that this point has already been made, the songs are Tuomas', no one else's. Yes, Marco and Emppu have helped to write some of the music, but at the core, they belong to Tuomas, as they are his words, his emotions, his thoughts-an extension of his heart and soul that he has chosen to share with the world. It's up to him who he wants to sing them; in the past, it was Tarja, and now it's Anette. But at the root of it all, it's still Nightwish, because Nightwish is Tuomas. Without his lyrics, you would have nothing.

Third, Tarja and Anette are so completely different that it's senseless to keep trying to compare them. Tarja has a voice that no one can ever match, she's technically perfect in every way, and manages to send chills down my spine even when she sings the heavier songs like "Feel For You" or "Bare Grace Misery" because there's just something...haunting...about her vocals. Anette has a passion in her voice that is undeniable, and in my opinion, unequalled by anyone I have ever heard before, especially Tarja. She has a very soulful quality in her voice, and her interpretations of the "old Era" songs are done in such a way that they truly do become completely different songs with a whole new range of emotions. I love them both equally, but I do realize that everyone is entitled to their opinion.

As far as writing the songs "for Tarja" or "for Anette" (and this is where I wish I could find where I read this again) Tuomas himself has said that he never wrote any of the songs specifically for Tarja's voice, but for a "ghost voice", because he couldn't always hear Tarja singing them as they were written. That would be why songs like "Stargazers" were rarely performed live, because some of the notes were just too high for Tarja to sing comfortably. Do you really think he would have done that if he had written them FOR her and her alone? I would imagine it will be the same way with Anette. Yes, he will be able to keep in mind what she is capable of, but she will also have to adapt her voice to what he has written, at least to some extent.

Basically what it comes down to, for me at least, is that I've been a Nightwish fan from the beginning, and I'm simply thankful for the fact that once Tarja was gone they managed to find a singer who is talented, passionate, and fits in with the rest of the band so that we, as fans, still have the magic of the music we've come to love. Nightwish is Nightwish, and that spirit is still there and always will be as long as Mr. Holopainen is writing the songs, the band is there to play them, and there's an amazing vocal talent to breathe life into the words.

I said million times already, to million people... I do prefer Tarja's voice over Anette's... But I also prefer Anette's attitude over Tarja's. Maybe Tarja was told not to smile, but it doesn't matter in the end. I still prefer Anette's energy... She just brought something new to Nightwish... not only with her voice, but with HER.
And that new is something I really like. Maybe I don't like DPP like I LOVED the old Nightwish stuff, but I accept it as it is.

Okay...so...you tell us that Tuomas has been caught ring hunting? What source did you get this information from? I'd be delighted to see this {and the same for Anette and Tero too please} otherwise I will simply disregard it as a silly rumour that needs to be squashed like a bug.

My other point. Any Nightwish fan would know what the band members are like right? Then we've all seen how Tuomas acts. Correct? We all know he's a sweetheart and really deep and blah blah blah. Any Nightwish fan would also be able to know and see that Tuomas is shy, very, very shy! He constantly ducks his head when around people and smiles quite bashfully all the time. I do not believe for one moment that man went out so boldly ring hunting when there has been no official news of him being with this Jonsu woman. It doesn't seem like a very intelligent move seeing as the poor man despises the media and what they write about him. I mean, he has told interviewers and such before that he has to be very careful with what he says, otherwise the media will turn it into something it's not. Isn't it reasonable to suggest that he would do the same in his actions?

I have other views on this point but they would cause too much of a fuss and way too much controversy within this thread so I think I'll just stick to my argument above and be done with it.

To me, this whole rumour, which so far has no evidence or truth behind it, seems completely improbable. The only current source we have is your word. I'm not saying you are untrustworthy but it all seems rather unlikely if you don't have any evidence or confirmation to back it up. Just seems like a very juicy scandal or the ravings of a fangirl.

And on another note...just because he was ring hunting doesn't mean it's for a possible partner...he could be buying a gift for his mother or sister or something {you know birthdays and such}...you don't know how he thinks, what he does or his reasoning behind doing what he does.

Thanks for posting that link, the entire article was rather informative.

...and as far as their personal lives being kept a secret, I agree, but of course people are going to react when she comes right out and speaks about it on her own. That's just human nature :)

It's nice to hear that she's happy. After all, the band members are only human, even if people do tend to forget that from time to time. :)

Erm...whoa. That was quite...interesting. Strange. Odd. That whole rant sort of gave me a headache, actually. Isn't it funny how one person thinks they can control the thoughts and opinions of everyone else simply by posting something that has no real evidence of being true? *sigh* Humans...

It doesn't matter who any of the band members are with, as long as they're happy. What matters is the music, the magic behind the lyrics, the amazing performances. That's what makes Nightwish what it is...one of (for me, THE) most incredible, powerful bands out there.

Nolla, do we really have to bring Tero, Alexi, Tarja, Toni, etc. etc. into this? xP

Anette's vocal capabilities have certainly improved since she started with the band. I sit and listen to the bootleg recording I have of her very first concert with them in Helsinki, and then I listen to the recording I have from Rock Werchter, and the differences are stunning. She seems so much more comfortable now, she hits the high notes with ease, and isn't afraid to change a bit of the melody here and there. It's truly amazing to watch her perform, and I cannot WAIT until August 29th when I get to see them again. The entire band blew me away when I saw them in May, Anette especially, and I can only imagine how much she's improved over the summer since she's had some more time to rest in between festivals.

As for Tuomas being perfect (I sorta dragged this point over from Crownless' poetry thread, I didn't really wanna go off topic over there :p), of course he isn't. Flaws are what make us human. If he were perfect, he more than likely wouldn't feel half of the emotions that he puts into his music and lyrics, and then we wouldn't have what we have: breathtaking, deep, amazing songs. No one is perfect, no matter how much people may like to think that they are.

She had a really really bad cold/flu, and had been quite sick for days. If you look up the Sydney concert on youtube, there are actually DVD quality videos of it, and even though she was still bouncing all over the stage and her voice sounded really, really good, you can tell she wasn't feeling well. At the end of Amaranth, her voice just totally dies on the last note and she sorta throws her hands up in the air like "Come on!" and Emppu just sorta smiles at her...it's quite cute :)

Anyway, the point to my sig is it really doesn't matter what a band plays as long as they are having fun and enjoying themselves. Does it really matter if it's still categorised in the genre they have been pigeon-holed into? The same can be said for Nightwish. The style is constantly changing and evolving by every album and song...but does that make us love them any less?

It also comes down to what makes a real fan. If you're just going to get up and leave the band because of one song, or in Nightwish's case, the change of a performer, what kind of a fan are you really? If you can't tolerate the slightest change then you were never truly a "true fan" from the beginning. You were simply a poser and nothing else.

It also comes ultimately down to bands, particularly Children of Bodom, not taking themselves too seriously. Why should we as fans and followers take them seriously when they obviously don't? By doing odd covers and smashing boundaries they are trying to keep themselves unique and fresh, while having some fun. I think fans forget easily that the bands do laugh at themselves and, in CoB's case, that was by doing the cover of Oops I Did It Again. Sorry for the long rant XD Hope it clears up that misunderstanding

No, unfourtenately i live too far from Cleveland, so i don't know about that, but i'm not sure about the quality of the sound in the Nightwish concerts. Of what i've heard it's not so good. I don't know if this is your fist concert of them, but i went to a couple of Nightwish concerts and the power of their songs is a lot of different than as they sound on the albums. I hope that you won't be dissapointed. Good luck my rocker, enjoy that concert !:D

I'm not going to the Cleveland show, but I am going to see them in Philly, Worcester AND Toronto! I saw them live for the first time back in May (May 7th, to be exact...no, I'm not obsessed with remembering the date that Tuomas Holopainen locked eyes with me from the stage, smiled, and blew me a kiss...>.>) and they totally blew me away. The energy that they have on stage is amazing, and Anette sounded totally awesome. I sooo cannot WAIT until next Friday!

Due to illness I have to cancel my planned guest appearance in Helsinki Senate Square tomorrow, friday. It was a big honour for me to be invited to this event and I feel sorry for those who had planned of seeing me there. Unfortunately I have a cold going and I need to rest, get better and stronger for our heavy upcoming US Tour next week. Nightwish duties do come first so I feel that my health and voice at this moment is more important, to be able to give our american fans a great tour over there.

And as for the Tuomas thing...yes, I know how lucky I am lol...it was when I saw them back in May for the first time. During The Poet and the Pendulum, right after the first part of the Pacific...I was on the second level, so about eye level with the band, sort of center stage...and he looked up from his keyboards...of course I was staring right at him, and his eyes locked with mine...even with 20 feet or so and a crowd of people in the pit between us, he just mesmerized me...and then he sort of winked and smiled, blew me a kiss, and very slowly lowered his eyes back to the keys...I will never, EVER forget that. Next Friday and Saturday my friends and I got VIP tickets to their shows, so I'll be meeting the whole band twice...I have butterflies in my stomach already just thinking about it...I don't know what it is about that man and his eyes, his smile, but he captivates me. I just hope that I don't faint or something embarrassing like that :p

*laughs* You already know how much I envy and despise you right now hon *pouts heavily and refrains from chucking a fit* Suppose I shouldn't be too annoyed about it...after all, you are gonna try and get my autographs, video footage, photos, etc...still though...you have the chance of breaking down into tears or shaking dreadfully to the point where poor Tuomas will wonder what he did wrong, get up and hug you to get you to smile, only to have you break into hysterics...then Anette will come over and shoo the Poet away only to make the tears worse by cuddling you too :p*goes on and on* :words::words::words:

^^ I'm with you, luminis, I like both "new" Nightwish and "old" Nightwish. They're both very different, but they share certain qualities, like the writing hasn't really changed because Tuomas is still writing the lyrics, but Anette's and Tarja's voices are so different.

Tuomas definitely has the eyes of a wolf...there's just something about them that pierces into my very soul, and even from 20 feet away it was really, really difficult to look away...he has this aura of mystery about him that captivates me, and it comes through in his writing so perfectly...

As for the concerts, don't worry girls, everyone will be getting a full report when I get home on Monday. I'm hoping that at least one of the venues will allow cameras inside for the show, because I didn't get to take pictures in May when I saw them and I know the boys are planning on being as close to the stage as possible.

And the idea of an EP is intriguing, but I don't know...they've already booked the studio to record the new album in spring 2010, and if they tour straight through September of '09 they won't have time to record an EP. I think there's enough video footage out there to keep the fans entertained until the next album comes out, and since the Tarja/Anette debate is still going strong, we won't run out of things to talk about :p

I bought Angels Fall First like a month ago. It was the only Nightwish CD I still needed.

Eh, it's okay. You can really see how they've changed over the years. Angels Fall First isn't as heavy as, like, Once is. They get darker as they go on, I think.

I love Beauty and the Beast. It's like one of my most favourite Nightwish songs. At first I didn't like Tuomas's voice so much, but now I really do. It's not amazing like Tarja's voice, but it's his own and it fits the music beautifully. I wish he'd sing more often... ah, well, he's shy. And it's his choice. He doesn't want to, so it's okay. Carpenter is an odd song. o.o

I wish Tuomas would sing more too. His voice is so soft and adorable, and I'll bet he sounds even better now that he's a bit older and more mature (I mean, he was like 19 when they recorded Angels Fall First) :p

I cannot contain my excitement anymore...my tickets for the Toronto show came today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D I can't believe I'm going to be standing 2 feet in front of Tuomas and Anette in 3 days time...*squee*

First: Tuomas sang in the Angels....album?
Second: I'm still searching for the damn video where the Nightwish song appears in Beijing.
Third:Tuomas will produce the Indica's Album in Sept, but the new album of Nightwish it's being released, because Tuomas said in the Nightmail that he is starting the album with some ideas. Some ideas and the concept of the new album.

Yes, Tuomas sings on Beauty and the Beast, The Carpenter and Astral Romance on the Angels Fall First album. He sounds so sweet and gentle...I love his voice, even if he himself hates it. It's a shame he doesn't do any real vocals anymore (aside from some background vocals on Over the Hills and Far Away, While Your Lips are Still Red and Master Passion Greed.) I think a nice duet with him and Anette would be simply lovely...

That video is awesome! I've watched it so many times :p

Eeeek! We're leaving for Philly in just over 9 hours! That means there are less than 24 hours before I am standing face to face with Nightwish! Tuomas and Anette are going to be literally 2 feet in front of me! *squeals*

Three Nightwish shows. Five days. Epic road trip. I couldn't ask for a better way to end the summer.

I love that song, it's probably my favourite. I only have the video they did somewhere - was it Eurovision? Tarja in a red dress. Anyway, yes, beautiful although if there are other verisions I'd love to hear those too. I can't find any other version to download though.

Oh yes, almost every show I do that happens;=) Mostly I drink much water and since I sing with a belting technique I push so hard in my stomach muscles, that I gets the water up immediately and I also have big problems with my stomach which give me heartburn a lot. Its really horrible and you just have to try and sing the phrase out and then burp, breath or whatever needs to come out;=)

Hard question, since there are so many good ones....but no 1: I must mention my boyfriend (I dont wanna say his name but he's great!); no 2: Patrik "Sv�rra" Sv�rd (Cloudscape) and no 3: Nicklas Olsson (my beloved Alyson Avenue band member). My boyfriend plays extremely well and I know he will go really far, Patrik Sv�rra is a super good guitar player and with his and Nicklas help I made my demo for Nightwish. They are great!
