Its an AWSOME review in my perspective! They once played "Hello" and "Bring Me To Life" I jumped out of my seat saying "THATS MY FAVORITE BAND!" and got some stares... anyways thought i would let you guys read it!

Review is all accepteable, but I don't agree with this part " The lyrics don't hit home emotionally". But everybody has right to a different opinion.... :)

I think since she is talking about her opinion, she is saying they just dont hit her emotionally like MI or Hello does to us sometimes. She doesnt get teary eyed during those songs as some of us do...

Dude! They air Channel One in your school, too?! lol so I'm not the only one subjected to it!

They've played Taking Over Me, BMTL, MI...Hello...they've played alot of Ev lol. They didn't play any Ev today though..at least not that I heard. I usually don't pay attention to much of it, but my ears are always tuned to what music they play. I once stopped in the middle of a conversation to go like 'OMG THEY'RE PLAYING EV!' lol and my friend just laughed at me.

Well, I personally REALLY liked the review. Nice to know that whoever wrote the review feels the same way we do, especially concerning the new album (I, too, have complete confidence in Ev :)). The bit about the lyrics I don't agree with, but everything else, I do.

We have Channel One too, but we're not forced to watch it. Most of the teachers just turn it off, and I usually have Quiz Bowl practice during that time.

Edit: Holy crap they have a Radiohead review! Right next to Kelly Clarkson, lol.

LOL! I'd prolly do that too! :p I feel the stares...when I walk thru the hall. Of course I'm wearing my ev shirts or wrist bands. And there's also a patch on my backpack...it's the focal point of the whole thing. How could anyone miss it? lol :) :cool:

Great review for them however i do believe that people connect with the meaning and lyrics of the songs as well. Some of them are so emotional and it just tears you up and you love and need more lol ;)

yeah that reviews been there for awhile.. as for channel one, i usually put my headphones on during it so i never have heard ev on it..

Channel one.. I'm glad they play Ev, we are forced to watch it at the end of the day, I'm not sure why, but we can't talk, and I love to talk, so if I can't talk let me listen to Ev or else! :mad: Katya, I like that poll too, I like the results of it more so.. ;)

I thought that they were kinda saying that the lyrics weren't all that great in this line:

The lyrics are what actually hits home to me o_O Sadly, I'm not a musician so I can't fully understand/appreciate the actual music as some people, so I suppose that's why the lyrics mean so much to me. It's a good review, apart from the lyrics part ;) Just because you can't relate. doesn't mean they're not emotional. It's not like majorly pissed that the person who wrote it wrote what she did-if you didn't post this to see people's opinions on her review, what did you expect? Like I said, I couldn't care less about the review, and I understand that was her opinion, just like this is mine ;)
