I actually can't believe we have a Home and Away thread, but no Neighbours thread **dies of shock**. I admit I was raised and reared on this soap, and prefer it much better to H & A.

At the moment I'm not watching either of them because the storylines have become too stupid even for this level of soapie.

After Kylie and Jason left the show just wasn't the same. ;)

i think neighbours shits all over home and away. Neighbours has such the best story lines and are more "real" than sum of h&a's stories. I have to say sky is my favourite..oh and cindy!

all i can really fill you in on is that if you mean the irish guy Connor has gone bak to his country he hasnt he is still in ramsy st.
the only old guy and young girl that are together are izzy and karl (that i can think of) and are engaged.

The thing I like about the Lana/Sky storyline is that it isn't gratuitous. Of course by that I mean that the writers haven't just used it as a chance to have two teenage girls kiss on TV to pull ratings. The fact that the kiss was a catalyst for a huge storyline is what impressed me the most. Plus if it makes one confused teen feel better about themselves, or make one person less of a homophobe...i'm all for it :D

I'm extreamly thankful I never came out at school, and so are alot of other people who went to the same school. I'd never advise coming out at school, too many adolescents trying to conform to peer pressure to be cool and fit in. Alot like what neighbours is dealing with.

last time i watched neighbors was years age and they was a motorcycle to car crash with ... ahhhh i think it was libby and somone and the passenger was criticly injured and yeh ... but like theres always somone in hospital on that show so it would be hard to remember lol :p

I watch it on and off, but it's just sooo predictable (hey, I wonder where Delta got her song from???) When Serena met Luca and then mer grandmother was like no...you can't see him anymore, I figured it out straight away....then I had to wait for a couple more weeks for it to actually happen!

And the whole Izzy falling in the water thing, well, of course, since she is scared of water and shes in a boat, she is going to fall in!!! (another thing, if I was scared of water I would feel safer in a big cruise ship (like their original plans) than a tiny rickety little boat with just 2 people.

i started watching it last yr coz mi sister was. its so corny and predictable i laught at it me and all mi friends do hehe :p

Gus was murdered and someone(s) burnt down the bar and the coffee shop. And that old dude died and the police think it was Steph, who is pregnant. Did I miss anything?

About 3 weeks ago Paul Robinson got his leg amputated, at the moment he's suspect No1 for Izzys disappearance. Stu Got married to Cyndy, and Cyndy pushed Toadie down a set of steps for finding out she is crook! - That's pretty much were we are up to.

Conner is hiding... He is hidding because he robbed Todie's shop and said it was someone else. He came clean with Todie before he left and Tod was really pissed off calling him all these names. And Conner will probably be charged and stuff and he was going to confess when he came back from the trip. And now Serina is dead he feels he has nothing to go back for, so he is hidding from the law like Dylan was.

Things that happened this week:

- Steph gives birth to Charlie Hoyland!! :D Max (along with Summer and Boyd) made it back from Fiji just in time to be there with Steph. After this, Steph went into surgery to fight the breast cancer and save her life.

- Even with the dirt dug up on Katya, Susan refuses to use it against her in court. She ends up surrendering Rachel and Zeke to Katya.

- Janelle reveals the real reason for the Timmins VS Rebecchi feud - when Angie married Kevin (Janelle's brother), Janelle felt that she had lost him and felt jealous of her. :rolleyes: Bree forces them to become friends again.

- Izzy tells Max that she's being blackmailed (by Lou) with footage of her and Ned Parker, and he encourages her to tell Paul about it.

- Izzy confesses EVERYTHING to Paul; that she slept with Ned, and also that she lied about Paul having a brain tumor so that he would keep quiet.
Just before she packs up and leaves, Paul tells her "My life would be so much easier if you walked out that door and kept on walking. Problem is .. without you, I don't really have a life." He pleads her to stay. :)

- As a last resort, Lou wants to blackmail Paul by showing Elle the Izzy/Ned footage, but pulls back at the last minute. Paul wins the General Store from Lou and Harold, sending them into retirement.

Next week, Paul's (EVIL!) son arrives in Ramsay Street. :eek:
