I've noticed that some threads that were previously locked have been unlocked and have generated some interest. I was wondering if we could possibly unlock the girly thread (I know Mel and Karen remember what I'm talking about.) It was wildly popular and there are lots of ladies here who may want to discuss girly issues. If I'm not mistaken, it was closed by some haters *cough* men *cough*. I searched for it though, and couldn't find it :(

I know its been locked for like 3 years, it was one of my fav threads of all time :)

EDIT: I noticed in searching that all the threads whose last post was between 1/25/05 and 6/14/05 are gone. If I'm not mistakedn, the girly thread was locked between that time :(

AGREED! Let's start a new one! The boys can have a thread if they REALLY want one, but let's be honest... how often do boys talk to each other about their boy problems? Not NEARLY as much as girls... and that's the truth. We need a girly thread. Where else can we put our period juices? :eek:

I think the original thread was in the old Whine and Cheese forum (before it turned into Advice) so it probably got purged. I could be mistaken. But I think it'd be nice to begin fresh, anyway. For some reason new threads get the most attraction, hehe.

It was Teh Torey's thread and is no longer listed for her (even in her deleted threads). It's pretty safe to assume it was either lost in the server wipe (January-June '05) or was completely deleted. It's sad, twas a classic.

I think the main idea of mentioning it was so the guys wouldn't feel left out.

oh i remember the old girlie thread (previous account) and for the last week i have been contemplating starting it back up as it will give all us females a place for much needed bitching and male bashing and also help revitalise the board a bit.

so being as this is Resurrecting old threads im wondering what else would people like to see resurrected? as i have noticed some memebers/ mod/smods are making an effort to bring back some of the good old threads

I used to post quite often in the girly thread. Maybe I can talk to Deinna about venturing back to EvBoard. She had a ton of good advice.

Well, it was originally just supposed to be a discussion thread on EvThreads. I was just interested since I've been visiting the past few days and I don't understand a lot of the stuff going on over there. But smack is good too, IMO.

I don't understand why the EvThreads thread was closed so quickly and frankly, I thought TheLady's little closing comments were unnecessarily harsh. Jesus. Everybody gets offended by everything nowadays. That thread was no where even near bad enough that it needed closing at the moment. Close it when we ran out of things to say, or when we started actually saying inappropriate things. That thread was all in good fun so far.

I'm never gonna give this up!!! Never gonna let you downnnnnn!!! I'ma gonna keep on keepin' on annoying the shit out of the mods!

The mods may not need to explain, but I felt I needed to voice my opinion... and as far I as I know, that's well within the rules to do. Saying "I don't understand" does not mean "Explain yourselves, mods"... if I wanted you to explain, I would've SAID that; y'all know me well enough to know I don't beat around the bush. :rolleyes:

Just to avoid Mickey Mouse comments, weird comparisons, further bitterness, grudges and blame. We must say We had horrific memories with past experiences so EvBoard nor Evthreads are not currently prepared to respond to another crisis which would be the most pointless ever having Amy out of scene right now.

IMO, the way I see both site, they are very much the same, but just with
different name titles, as well as the band doesn't come visit here
anymore.
AND......Here there is alot more to do, and its alot more fun.
But Jerry you are right, about the blameing, bashing, pointing fingers
and things like that.
I wouldn't want to do that, just out of the respect of Amy.
