So I've worked on it yesterday and today, and here's the result:

so i tried to do something out of what i could hear from the guitar parts of the song, its pretty good, i played it once and sang to it and it sounded very nice.
there are some things missing but its kinda hard for me to hear the guitar while amy is singing in the verses.
oh and i added the choir part at the end :) I took that from "the end"
so let me know what you think of it.
and just in case you're lost, just start singing at 0:14

No problem. ;) At first i thought it would be kinda hard to do but then I realized its basically 2 chords repeated until the end of the song. it was very easy to do. If I have some time ill make a midi too and ill post the tab to it at mxtabs.net and ultimate-guitar.com .

Thats what happens when ppl dont save target as or when too many ppl have loaded it. I just tried it now, the first one didnt work but the second one did. you just have to keep trying. i dont have any other solution to be able to share this with you guys :(

i myself have been dedicating my time to learning Ev songs on piano. We recently, me and my band, were allowed to go into a recording studio and make a demo CD - with Solitude, Breathe No More, Going Under, Haunted, Whisper and Farther Away - remember, its a demo! the rest are our own songs.

could you upload the songs on the demo CD onto the net (inc your own) cuz i like hearing unsigned band demos

It's true. It is more accurate during the verses. I coulnt hear the guitar clearly while Amy was singing in those parts and I hadn't found this tab which is really accurate. thanks for the link, if I have some time maybe i'll record it the right way. :)

wow i had no idea that they wrote this song cuz of a competition!! Amy totally deserved to win!!!;)

I really want to know how amy can play piano like that (besides the fact that...duh!...she's amy!) everytime I try to play give unto me I get stuck at the big piano solo around the end...it starts out low and gets higher...I just can't move my fingers like that!

I really like this song.. it's just... beautiful. All of ev's songs are amazing, but there are a few songs including this one that just work well and sound stunning!

It's hard to believe that they evolved from Solitude to Call Me When You're Sober. I wonder how old Amy was when she wrote this song. I know she was a teenager. She is so talented.

The song or the word?
Word: it basically means to be alone
Song: The "I" in the song is in love with the "you", but the "you" doesn't see it, and so the "I" is left alone in Solitude.
