Well I was thinking about Evanescence and all great songs that they heve written for us, songs that saved us in the hard moments of life, and I decided that we should all respond on a same way. Let´s write them a song!!!
It goes like this, everyone should write a song for them, It doesn´t have to be great but It has to com from your heart and you have to feel it. I hope you´ll suport my idea, becouse they have done soo many great things for us....NIKKI:) :) :) :)

well i wrote a song and i posted it but it got deleted guess it was to depressing and dark :( oh well but i guess it wasnt a song to them it was a song i wrote and how i felt at the time of writing it.

That's funny...I've actually been working on a few.

They always turn out UBER cheesy though..it's kinda sad. I'll definatly keep working on it though. It would be cool if we could make them an album!

I'd be up for that, I have a non crappy song I'm working on at the moment (well I've been working on it since I was like 14 :p.) Only thing is the quality would be awful because the way I record is keyboard through microphone into audacity, so it comes out unbalanced, unclear, all crackly. Not good. Now I'm getting a little more serious about song writing I might buy a cable to connect it up and some better software.

I also would probably want someone else to sing, because I would actually die of complete embarrassment if Amy Lee ever heard my voice. :p Unless I could really nail it.

Not sure..wasn't my idea, BUT...I when I said "we could make an album", I was thinking if a few of us wrote songs dedicated to Ev. I have a nice handful of songs that have nothing to do with them..and they're a lot better. We could always make an "evboard" album just with our stuff. But I think the original poster was thinging of making a song (or songs) dedicated to the band..since they're written so many that FEEL LIKE they're just for us.

I can write lyrics...I can also write music. But I'm pretty much a moron when it comes to recording. I have a guitar, a shitty amp and a MIDI capapble keyboard (only 66 keys though). I have no recording software or mixing soft ware. Any suggestions?

[EDIT] I'm almost done with a song. It's dedicated by pretty much anybody who has infulenced me with music, but it's inspired by Evanescence mostly. I'm trying to get my friend to rockify it, so we'll see.
