Okay. Credit must be given where credit is deserved. Who else here likes Switchfoot? Switchfoot, in my opinion, is the greatest band to walk the face of this planet. They are the only other band, aside from Evanescence, that will never fall from the number one spot (yes, you are allowed to have more than one all time fav band). So who else loves these four surfer boys from San Diego?

I like em, the first time I ever heard of them was there contribution to the "A Walk To Remember" soundtrack. I absolutly love

Yeah... they're awesomness incarnate. By the way... Only Hope is thier song. Jon wrote it a LONG time ago. Mandy Moore just did a cover for the movie. Both versions are great, but there's nothing like the original. Especially when they do it live.

I like them, but I'm not a huge fan. I have their CD "The Legend of Chin", and put it on once in a while.
From what I've heard of their other CD's they seem better though, so I ought to get at least one more or something.

Get "The Beautiful Letdown", it's their latest and greatest CD. (so far)

Considering I've seen these guys twice in concert.. The latest at the hob on the sunset strip with Fiction Plane.. I love these guys.. I own every cd of theirs and love all of them.. They are truely a great band, with great messages. Without Switchfoot I can honestly say there would be something missing in my life!

After seeing A Walk to Remember, I downloaded a looot of their songs. I liked what I heard. Great lyrics, great sound. I kinda forgot about them...hmmm.

i love switchfoot. especially 'learning to breathe'. i think that song is amazing! i only heard of them earlier this year from my friend. ive got two albums, but i dont know which they are, lol. anyway, i really like paporatzi too if thats how you spell it.

i agree switchfoot are truely great especially their new album it is deffinately their best yet, not that the others havent been of course.

One of my friends sang "24" at her graduation ceremony/senior recital thing... I still prefer her voice on that song to his.

I like them alot, finally got all their .. songs. effin stuff is expensive.

I'm the same as most people here,I found Switchfoot when I watched A Walk To Remember,I downloaded Only Hope and thought it was Shane Wests band.I started crying because it is such a beautiful song.I also like You,i think thats what it's called and Learning To Breathe.I have tons of their songs on my computer but I also haven't listened to them for awhile.I havent come across any of their cd's here in Australia.:(

I must be the minority. I didn't hear of Switchfoot until "Meant To Live" was played on a Christian music video show. Since then, the radio has played them almost non-stop. "Meant To Live" and "Dare You To Move" (the new version) are awesome.

I heard Meant to Live on the radio while I was in Albany in Janurary (I listen to the radio there, but never here when I'm home, they have so much better stations there) and got the CD after that. I read that they were considered a religious band, which I hadnt known when I started listenting to them, and I"m not at all religious, but I still like them. Almost went to see them in concert last month but it was in the city and I couldnt afford the concert and the train so I had to miss it.

being that i don't listen to the radio much ever and that i don't watch tv much (don't watch them rock countdowns either unless there's nothing on), i never heard of Meant to Live till a few months after it came out as a single T_T but yeah, that's the first song of theirs that i heard. then i bought the cd.

i just started listening to the cd...i bought it 2 or 3 months ago. haha. it's a very good album, i really like it :D

I usually don't like pop music like Mandy Moore but that is my all time favorite soundtract because switchfoot made it a good sountract my favorite songs on it are "only hope'' and ''you''.

Switchfoot kick an insurmountable amount of ass. Their music pwns, especially the "Beautiful Letdown" album.

The guys themselves are so cool, they are so humble. They're great guys if you get to talk to them outside of a swag-signing context. I love them.

I saw this thread when i came home, and our little tiny town of Ridgecrest had "The Beautiful Letdown" at our Christian Book Store. SO I previewed it. I've just heard them this once but I really liked what I heard, and I'm going to buy the CD as soon as I have the money. They're pretty Cool.

yeah, I got their newest cd a couple months ago...Christmas time. I really like what they put out. My favorite songs on The Beautiful Letdown is Gone and 24. :)

Meant to Live, This is Your Life, More Than Fine, Dare You to Move, Gone, On Fire and Twenty Four are my favorite tracks. That's more than half the CD right there.

The only song I really like by Switchfoot is "Meant To Live". I did, though, end up buying "The Beautiful Letdown", but it's not a cd that finds it's way into my cd player on a regular basis. It's not a bad cd, though. They were in Calgary this past Saturday, but I chose not to go.

I love them! Great music... and I think Jon Foreman (vocalist/guitarist) has a very sexy voice mmhhmm :)
