Well ive been lurking around the board for a couple of weeks and since im a Canadian abroad in Kuwait, i thought it would be cool if all Ev fans in the Middle East or Arab World sent their greetings through a common thread. I also will personally will take charge of keeping all you middle eastern fans updated on any specific Ev news for u guys; new releases, the extra extras, rumours (we like em all :p lol ) and if one day Ev might be performing in a venue near you...

Im Sd, Canadian Ev fan in Kuwait, and although i miss Canada, i do enjoy my stay in kuwait occasionally, as long as Fallen is playing in my CD player, im fine :p

So say hi, post your thoughts, anything Ev oriented, we're all interested, and check this thread from time to time coz its where you'll find anything Ev for u :)

For now the latest update is : Anywhere But Home, DVD+CD, is available at ALL Virgin Megastores in the Arab world (FINALLY!)! I have seen it in Virgin Kuwait, and my friends have also seen it in Virgin UAE and Liban (Lebanon). So go check it out! The price is around 20 to 22 US dollars (8 kuwaiti dinars, 100 dirhams)

I'm from Kuwait and i am in Kuwiat as well haha- It's always cool to meet fans nearby. I'm glad Virgin Megastores finally has Anywhere but Home although i think its too much KD when i believe normal DVDs are really 6 KD. =)

And I don't live in Kuwait. :p The closest connection I have to it is that my mum used to live in Saudi Arabia. lol. But I DO want to go there.

Dubai is just...BEAUTIFUL! lol Well more cars than people is a bit of an exaggeration, but the latest surveys showed that kuwait's population was 2.25 million, and there were a lil bit over 1.5 million cars in the country, so u figure lol

Evanescence is one of the most be-loved bands on Kuwaiti & Arab radio and MTV-like channels! BMTL was a huge hit, and u wont even imagine this...but GU and EF were even BIGGER! Even more...Fallen hasn't stepped off Virgin Megastore's top 20 chart for the past 16 months since its release in Kuwait! It locked up the number 1 spot for a while, and is listed in Virgin's Top 5 Best Sellers & Virgin's Essentials charts :D

Also...ABH fills up 2 shelves on its own in the DVD section in Virgin , compared to half a shelf for new movie releases like Shrek 2 and Spiderman 2 etc...

So yeah...Ev is praised ALOT here!

hmmm i think that there are alot of fans in the arab world .

we listen to Ev alot .. and i always play all the songs in my CD player & my mp3 player :D

hmmm i hope that Ev will make a small tour in Asia ,, 'cos i think there are too many fans here and there :p
