Weeee! I saw them live a couple months ago with Theory of a Deadman. They put on a pretty sweet live show... quite energetic.

I'm quite familiar with the single... but really don't know much of the other stuff. Based on the concert, perhaps I should...

three days grace are AWESOME. even with them being a new & up-and-coming band, they're one of my favorites. if you haven't heard anything by them yet, i suggest you download "take me under" and "[i hate] everything about you". both are super songs <3.

if you're wondering, i'd categorize them, mainly, as hard rock.

The first time I'd heard of this band was when I saw them perform in July as part of Big Day Out (I was there to see Evanescence, naturally) and I have been a BIG fan since. They are really good.

If home is already getting airplay, I can 90% (and maybe more) guarantee that that would be the next single. So there probably would be a video for it.

When the latest Evanescence tour goes back up to Canada for 3/4 dates, Three Days Grace will be playing before Evanescence. Otherwise, as most shows, Seether would be playing before Evanescence.

I have only heard two of Three Days Grace songs, the one that's in the charts now and Someone Like You.

Pretty cool from what I have heard so far.

They were great at the Minneapolis show. A friend of mine bought their CD and I'm planning on buying it too.

I love Three Days Grace... My boyfriend knew about them before they were really popular, so when I went to Target to buy him the CD it was only $8.99! Now when I look for it to buy a copy for myself, it's like $14.99 :rolleyes:

3DG will be rerelesing their cd with a bonus dvd. Kinda like Seether did with Disclaimer 2. It will be out on Oct. 26th so watch out for the same cd cover, but it will say that it includes a dvd. It's listed on Amazon if you're interested.

Actually, in Canada 'Home' had gotten some light radio play before but only recently with the videos release has it really become a single. Also, our singles have been the same. Those three in those order are exactly what we got in the north.

Anyway, so do you guys think that they're gunna come back to Canada anytime soon to tour their new single and the DVD release? Cause with the new video, and the rerelease, I couldn't imagine them stopping their tour before playing some shows here.

hoobastank and Three Days Grace were supposed to have a tour date in Milwaukee in about a week, but Hoobastank dropped out because they extended their tour, so now Three Days Grace is the headliner. But I can't convince my dad to let me go. I'd love to go just to get Neil's autography, he's the only one I don't have.

I absolutely <3 Three Days Grace. Before I saw them live in Toronto opening for Ev, I had heard of them vaguely, and I had heard "I Hate Everything About You" and "Just Like You" on the radio. They did a KICK ASS live show, and after I got the CD. My favorite songs are "Wake Up", "Home", and "I Hate Everything About You."

On a new Nas mixtape there's a song featuring Three Days Grace on it. It's called Hate Everything About You Now; I've yet to hear it. He also has a track on there featuring Red Hot Chili Peppers called Last Real Nigga Out The Bridge. Nice to see him Bridging The Gap.

Three Days Grace To Hit Studio In February

Fans may be ready for a helping of new material from Canadian rock act Three Days Grace, but the quartet says its in no rush to get busy on its sophomore album. After all, its self-titled Jive/Zomba set has spawned respective No. 1 and No. 2 entries on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart and new single "Home" climbs to No. 15 on the tally this week.

"There's talk of releasing 'Wake Up' as another single," drummer Neil Sanderson tells Billboard.com. "We also just re-released our disc with a DVD and a bonus disc. We're doing some soundtrack stuff as well. All of that allows to stay out longer and play more shows. Because that's the most important thing for us, we're not in a mad rush to get off the road and start the record."

When Three Days Grace eventually hits the studio in February, the band plans to work again with producer Gavin Brown, who was behind the boards for the debut.

"We've got a little studio in the back of the bus, so we try to put the Xbox down for a few minutes and lay down some ideas," Sanderson says. "We haven't gotten to the point to where we've played any of them live yet. That's not really our style. Some bands write a ton of songs and then pick from the pile. We don't really do that. We don't tend to play new stuff until we've gotten it into the studio or we've at least completely finished it."

But Sanderson says once the band gets down to recording, it won't be long until the album sees the light of day. "We work pretty quickly, so it will definitely come out in 2005," he says. "It could be by the end of the summer."

To close out the year, Three Days Grace has five more dates left on a U.S. tour with Hoobastank, which wraps Saturday (Dec. 18) in St. Petersburg, Fla. The group has also scheduled Christmas shows for Dec. 26 in Toronto, Dec. 27 in Ottawa and Dec. 28 in Montreal.

That's funny because that song is about 2 years old, and in Canada they're on their 4th single, with a new album coming out later on in the year.

They have only released 'Ihate every thing about you" and "Just like you' over in Australia. I haven't heard any other songs by them being played. but then again i don't listern to the radio.

3DG pwns. i just got the limited edition version of their album (it's got a DVD and a bonus track), and it kills. the bonus track (Are You Ready) pwns beyond belief.

i got to see them live this summer in Columbus while they were touring with Breaking Benjamin, Seether, and Ev. apparently, they weren't so good at the show back here in MN, but i thought they kicked ass in OH :p.

I agree with you about the likeing the single of a band i like the most but that's till i hear the songs that are on the album.And sometimes the single is the only good track on the album.
As for Ev, I love them and yes BMTL got me started but I love the singles and the tracks.Just my opinion.Sorry for going off topic.

I would love to hear that. I love the first couple of lines on that song, just because of the sound of his voice. He does something that is amazing, I don't know what you'd call it... but it's great! :D

Yes they do and yes he is:p . But I do have to say that personality wise, Barry and Brad are the nicest. Adam was nice, but didn't seem to go out of his way for fans and i haven't met Neil yet.

They are such a great band. They really rock in concert. I would have to say that my favorite song by them has to be "Wake Up." I swear it just fits for me and my life is depressing. It's actually a good song to listen to when you are depressed. Anyways, they rock my world.

I agree with that statement. I really like this band a lot. I love the songs "Home" and "Wake Up". The whole album is good though. From start to finish I can rock out to the whole thing.

I was at a recent show of theirs in Toronto, they played a bunch of new stuff, and said that it was the first time they performed any new material in front of an audience :D

The songs were awesome actually, like, first listen the hooks stood out and u were singing along. So cool. They said new album was very early 2006, so spring sounds about right.

I've been listening to Animal I Have Become for a while now. I kept playing it over and over again! It's just that good! I can't wait for the new album. I'm trying to convince my brother to go to the Duluth show with me when the open for Staind. I don't know why he doesnt really want to cuz their like his favourite band and we're gonna be there anyway!

It didnt impress me that much when I first heard it. But I think it has to grow on me a bit :)

Yeah. I was a bit thrown back by it at first but I like it. Quite a bit actually.

I've heard the new single and I love it. Some that I've seen have compared it to Nine Inch Nails especially in the beginning and I even heard somebody compare it to Seether's Remedy.

Don't know about either of those comparisons, but it stands well on its own.

The album was apparently supposed to be released on 6/6/06, but they pushed it a week back according to All Access.

Has anyone else seen the new video for 'animal i have become'? It was directed by Dean Karr. I'm not sure I'm liking the 'new' image (by 'new' I mean the 'trendy-suits-with-make-up-and-emo-hair-' image). The song isn't bad though.

I saw a bit of the new video...but I like Adam Gontier's hair in the I Hate Everything About You video much better. :p

I caught the ending of the Making the Video (or whatever they call it on MM) and the video did spur some dirrty thoughts, but that's just me. XD

I want to get it but I've heard clips of a few of the songs and none of them really amaze me. Not like "Animal I Have Become". That song reminds me of the last album which I absolutely LOVE.

I think On My Own and Get Out Alive are just simply brilliant! They really tried out some new stuff somehow.

I just got it Wednesday...I LOVE IT!!!!!! I don't know yet whether or not I like One-X better than the debut...I do think it's a bit more polished, though. Anyway, I ADORE Gone Forever, Over and Over, and Time of Dying. Get Out Alive, On My Own, and It's All Over and great too.

It was just announced today that TDG is coming to Winnipeg, with Theory Of A Deadman (another good band). The concert known as Powerball is November 16 or 18th i cant remember but Tickets go on sale saturday. Im so there. Adam Gontier has an Awesome voice. Thought I should share.

I just saw them this week on tour with Staind, Hinder, and Black Stone Cherry. Holy crap they were good! They did a cover right in the middle of Home, I wanna say it was a song by either Tool or Nine Inch Nails. I feel retarded for not knowing the title, but I'll edit my post when I figure it out :P They played an awesome set. The singer even had a microphone with a voice filter over it :D
