today while i was watching the V8 SuperStars i realised there wasnt a thread on here about them, so im making one! (yes, i did a search first and i couldnt find one)
so anyway, this is just basically for discussing the races, stuff that happens, ect...
i myself am i Holden fan!
i was wondering what fans thought of the plastic bag turning up in Brights airbox and the nuts and bolts turning up in his engine. does anyone think it was sabbotage?

I don't have any real preference. Actually I'd choose Holden, because my ex put the fear of well, HER into me if I chose anything other than Holden. Let's just say a girl can be very persuasive when she's got a heavy blunt item in reach.
Although an old Blue & Black Torana would be cool, the ones with the bolted-on wheelguards. I don't know shit about cars.

im gonna talk about the times i went to the V8 race! (when it was in Canberra)
the first time, i was in year 6, i got half a day off school and i got to see cars go really fast :D we went on friday. it was the first time the V8's came to Canberra
the second time, i was in year 7. we went on saturday. we saw a full length race, i saw Todd Kelly. he was hawt! i dont remeber much else :S
the third (and last time, after this the race was cancelled) we also went on saturday, i was in year 8. i remeber standing on Holden corner during the shootout and i remeber Seaton (i think) crashing right in front of the Holden fans.. we all cheered ;) then for the race, we were standing next to a Rusell Ingal fan... during the last lap, Ingalls car broke down, right in front of us! it was funny for us... not funny for teh supporter!
V8 Races are fun.. this year... we're going to Bathurst!!! *dances*

Where the Nissan Skylines still reign supreme! ;)
I don't like the V8's (if you hadn't guessed yet!) but going to the Clipsal 500 is always fun, the atmosphere is awesome! Adelaide know how to put on a show like that. Pity we don't have the Grand Prix anymore, or the Le Mans. :(

NISSAN!!!!!!! SKAIFE!!!!!!!! And.... RICHARDS!!!!!!!!!!
Now, let me go find that little story in the Adelaide Advertiser about Nissans and Bathurst that I've been meaning to post for a while now...
Small Torque
Jim Richards and Mark Skaife won the Bathurst 1000 race in GT-R Nissans in 1991 and 1992.
The fastest 1000km race on the "new" curcuit is still their 1991 time -
six hours 19 mins 14 seconds, averaging 158.3km/h.
Compared with last year's Greg Murphy-Rick Kelly winning time of, six hours 32 mins 55 seconds, at an average speed of 152.7km/h.
