I remember a time when I was the richest BY FAR but I never showed it. I had like 10,000,000+++ points or something like that but they were all banked. I know for sure I used to get like 100,000 points in interest everyday and I would STILL be stingy with the points. Ahhh...good times.

Of course it won't go down THAT much. As far as rep POINTS is concerned, every time you stole (with the old system in place), your POINTS decreased a bit. Something like -50 rep or something like that. I don't remember.

If you were to lose a whole green dot, that would just be a HUUUUGE drop in rep.

Hmmm, it looks to me like you have to buy another addition to your username and then the color will show up. The red on my username did not show up until I bought the italic username. Strange.

When I put in a color I put in an RGB value, but I just noticed by testing it that if you use RGB in a post fpr color it puts a "#" in front of it. Maybe the # is needed in the username too?

My username should have been blue before not white, so I'd say there's something not quite right with how the browser is handling things as opposed to the store not functioning right (as least for that instance). And Hope, your name is in yellow from here!:)

The color I chose was gold (as I assumed that Admin Orange was a no-no *grin*), so IE is definitely handling it correctly. It counds like FF isn't handling the color codes correctly from the board. Lemme check...

I know the "glow" never worked for Firefox though. A friend of mine (RedRooster) told me earlier that the reason why glow never worked on Firefox is this: "glow isn't real HTML that's why it only works on IE since IE never gave a crap about the HTML standards". :) *nods*

OK I think I found it. If you look at this line:

You'll see that the color code is listed as "b1a454". If you look at the line in my profile that RGB code is prefaced with a "#". If you look at the code for hyatt[x]core, who is in blue but due to PS status and NOT the store, you see:

Note the "#" is there. That symbol is also missing from Hope's coloring, and the color defined for *Dawn* is "Plum" and not an RGB. While *Dawn* doesn't have a #, the explicitly defined color must not need them, thus why it's working just fine. So, it appears that without that # FF is not adding the color to usernames when the color is RGB. Neither apparently is some versions of IE. I took the source code to the page, and saved it off, and manually added the # to my username's color, and the color suddenly worked in Firefox. So, the problem is that the store isn't prefacing the color with the # as is needed for RGB colors. Some versions of browsers I guess aren't picky and don't care it's not there, others are picky and require it in order to be a valid color code.

SO, I think what it means, is that if a person is going to use an RGB code instead of a vBulletin defined color, they may need to put a # in front as it's not going to do it on its own.

Edit. Bah, I bought a different color just to see if the name should be capitalized, but it still doesn't work. It seems that Dark Star is having the same problem as me.

We think there may be a problem with PSs buying colored usernames. We're awaiting the return of ToB to look into the issue.

I entered "gold" for a colored username, and it didn't change. (I checked both IE and FF.) It worked before.

the colours didn't work for me either, until I bought bold username. After that, the colour that I bought started to work.

I tried the Thief feature out and failed. When I checked my rep, I'd lost 3 points.

Failed Thief = -3 rep
Succuessful Thief = ???

That's a good point. Although it's a different shade of green, it's not maybe the best choice of colour.

Look in the other thread someplace around page 15 for the answer. In short there's a coding issue in how the store adds the color and it doesn't necessarily work right.

I do believe you would get 5,000 more points if you extended your subscription.

The interest for the bank is 2% weekly.
