First off, yesterday i was able to watch the my immortal video, but today when i tried to watch it, it played the music but not the actual video. I am not sure what exactly is going on....i tried downloading a few different ripped versions and the one on aol but still, each time, it plays the music but now video.

Naikuu said something about me needing a codec or sumthing, can anyone help me with this? Im not even sure what a codec is except that i might need one. Thanks guys <3

EDIT: ok i changed the title coz it isn't just MI that wont work, its every video thing, like the going under music video and i tried watching the real magic tv episode and that wouldn't work either :(

Eeek. Suddenly ANY video you play is not working right? It sounds like a codec thing, but if every video format is not working right all of a sudden that's weird. Are you sure it's not just one format like AVI, or MPG or whatever?

Have you installed any software since you played the video the first time? (when it played properly)

What format is it in ?

If its a codec problem which it seems to be try to download the kazaa lite codec pack. Thats all the codecs you'll need.

Oh not to be mean but the K-Lite codec pack is a total joke.
Unless they somehow added another 50 codecs/filters to the 8 or so that were there originally.


I would go for the Nimo codec pack.
Site seems to be down now, so I guess just go with K-Lite to see if that helps.

If used be sure to check all the video codec boxes and any other video filters you think might be needed. I guess just select Full install.

I used to have Nimo codec pack, but a lot of the codecs fucked up. I'm not the only one who had that problem. After I got klite codec pack, I've had no problems at all. I guess thats depends what u need it for.

K lite is ok, but it does not have that many codecs.


Just a few of the basic ones which is why I don't like it.



I never had a problem with Nimo though.

Yeah, sorry to resurrect this, but I have an .m2v video wich I can't play because the codec is missing. Where can I find it?. The link of the pack you shared luna, is not working. Helpp please.

You may want to change your player as well.

Zoom Player works really well and is free. It should be able to play those files without problem.
