Even better, is when we are placed on water restrictions over summer, can't water your lawn at certain times of the day and so on, but the council waters the flower beds in the middle of roundabouts at 1pm in a 40 C day!

School wise I got to Lefevre High School- the port power coloured school, since i dont mind because we are teh best :p

I'm semi-wishing I lived in Adelaide.. I just visited there Thursday-Saturday and it was a lot of fun and really cruisey.. Alot like Perth but just further away. The only thing that freaked me out was the driving.. every person I got a ride with, be it friend or taxi driver was insane ;) I swear to god til Adelaide I've never met a taxi driver that goes through amber-phasing-to-red lights at top speed, and yet within three days I'd ridden with at least 2 of them.

I'm semi-wishing I lived in Adelaide.. I just visited there Thursday-Saturday and it was a lot of fun and really cruisey.. Alot like Perth but just further away. The only thing that freaked me out was the driving.. every person I got a ride with, be it friend or taxi driver was insane ;) I swear to god til Adelaide I've never met a taxi driver that goes through amber-phasing-to-red lights at top speed, and yet within three days I'd ridden with at least 2 of them.

..and the girls were hott.

What's wrong with being an architecture nerd!? I love all the old building in Adelaide... which are beginning to be overgrown with godawful modern apartment buildings. I like the contrast between the two sometimes, but not when one starts to take over. /architecture nerdness.

Even better than somewhere a little older like Sydney? Yeah, we have heaps of churches... there are about *counts* 10-15 within a 10 min drive from my house. :D

Heh, we had some Adelaide friends in Perth for awhile and they ended up getting the nickname "The Altar Boys". Sure are alot of churches, I may not be religious but damn they look pretty impressive :p

Didn't have as much time in SA as last time, It was so much fun though.. Got 4 hours sleep the night before, travelled, got there at 11am.

Walked around the city a little, took in the wrestling show at Dom Polski Centre, went home, hit the casino at 2am (which sucks- no i don't gamble, but in the company of good friends it's alot of fun). We got the best taxi driver ever too.. within a few minutes he let his politically incorrectness shine and we laughed non stop all the way there. Drank alot more alcamahol then planned and left the place at about 6am. Walked to ChuckDonalds for breakfast, then jagged the same damn taxi driver outside on the way out! (We got his card, we're gonna use him whenever we go to Adelaide now:).. ) Then about 2 1/2 hrs sleep and back on the plane. I'm soo bloody tired.. the matchsticks keeping my eyelids apart keep snapping and i need to rreplace em :p I just can't sleep on planes, so I'll be off to catch up now before work tomorrow :( ..

Adelaide is officially the party state now :)

I thought Brisbane and Melbourne were the best places in the world when I visited. I also decided to move to Perth when I was there ages ago. Adelaide is a very beautiful city... but I live here, so it loses it's goodness on me.

The only reason I would have liked a GreaterUnion cinema is so I can use either my GreaterUnion discount card, or my Cinebuzz card for cheaper tickets, so I hope the Reading cinema has some sort of discount card, otherwise I'll keep going to Arndale. Well good luck with it. Year 11 is, I suppose, when things start to get "real" you know, when everything starts to seem final (it did for me anyway). I think it was like that mainly because of all of the talks the teachers give about how your now working towards the final stage of highschool.

Have fun with it and remember not to take it too seriously (work hard but don't get so stressed that you get sick like I did...)
