well, they have been in the charts for several times now, Ice Queen was a big hit, so was Mother Earth, and then they didn't brought anymore songs from the MOther Earth album...
then , like in last spring, they came out wit "running up that hill"a Kate Bush cover!
last year i got their dvd for christmas, it's a good one with a lot life material.
i like them a lot and i know holland isn't the place to get in the charts if you're band kinda like WT, Lacuna Coil. even for Evanescence it's hard to get in the top 20 (besides of BMTL)

I hate it when people read my mind. I was just reading about this forum over in the Announcements forum, and I was thinking, "I should go post about Within Temptation!" ...and it's already been done. Oh well! I have a lot of their songs on my computer, and I just adore them. They're music is really unusual. I'm surprised to hear that they're from the Netherlands for some reason, because their music sounds like it's heavily Celtic/Irish influenced. Not sure what my favorite song is yet, though.

It's not easy for those trying to get WT CDs here in Oz. Last week I recommended them to a friend of mine only to discover that you can't get any of their albums at the moment. The only place you can usually get them is from amazon.com and I just noticed that they are out of stock of almost all the WT disks. :( Bummer. I don't like loaning out my disks.

I've heard german is the hardest language to learn and you have to live more than 20 years in germany to speak it perfect.

I just tasted my first bit of Within Temptation and I think their sound rox! If you listen close though...it sounds like their lead singer has a lighter sound to her voice. But with the dark sound of the guitar and...it sounds like they added a little reverb to her voice...it definately sounds dark. I like it!
