My first poem on here-- For dad.
This is just a random poem I thought of, it's been a few years since my dad died so this is really kinda written to him....
----------------------- You walked out the door I thought I'd see you the very next day Mum received the call No it can't be It was too late, there's nothing anyone could do I wish you hadn't left that night It's been three years I've grown up alot since then But for some reason... ...The pain doesn't end... How could they possibly understand... They talk of their parents in such harsh ways Right in front of me I want to scream at at them Make them understand Make them show a bit of respect After all, it's easy for them They haven't learned their lesson the hard way Why do I remain silent though... Why do I always wait till I'm alone... ...To cry... To whisper all my thoughts away... To the invisible spectrum that is you... Why did you leave?
