Maybe the DJ at the time was just messin around with two different versions or something. Would make more sense if it was a mix hour show or something.

Thats true, i wondered, I liked it - perhaps a little better than the original band version. anyone else out there listen to KRAB 106.1 in bakersfield, ca? maybe you have heard it before....

I do know that there are TWO different band versions.

One of them is the album band version with the strings throughout the song.

The second one features a piano-vocal through most of the song until the very end. Also in the second one, the Moody solo sounds quite different from the one you normally hear.

I've only heard the two versions of "My Immortal", the one on "Fallen", and the band version that gets played on the radio. I haven't heard any other version, though, I'd like to hear this version that you speak of.

I actually posted a poll a little while ago while My Immortal was on the Australian Hot Hits countdown because then while it was on the chart, they were playing the full guitars version asking which one was better.

Maybe it's the mystary version they're referring to. I don't know how a radio station would GET it but...its a possibility. Amy's vocals on that one are a bit different, and it's got the same intro as the band version.
