geez, i've been slacking off again....big time, lol. here's a song i wrote:

white snow blankets the earth
it's that time of year again
all of nature dies and goes to sleep
the air starts to freeze
and all i have to keep me warm
is my memories.

the snow is falling
down tonight
i find i'm dreaming
in a sleepless winter
alone here i lie
night after night
i'm forever dreaming
in a sleepless winter.

tortured by the chilled atmosphere
my frost bitten heart won't melt
my tears are frozen as ice
and in my mind
i start to visualize
the fire in your eyes.

my body shivers from the wind
and a mere memory i remembered again
my fingers are chilled to the bone
you're the only warmth i've ever known
i'm too cold to sleep or rest
and tomorrow night won't be any different.

Wow i really liked sleepless winter.... It started off so fragile and innocent then turned into something slightly bitter and twisted! i Love that! great imagery too! <3
