I would have just moved...

And since I have been following your thread.... I have seen more spiders this spring/summer than the 9yrs that I have lived here. We normally get scorpions... but noooo... it has to be spiders now.

Actually.. I think I would rather deal with scorpions than spiders... or snakes...

There was a big copperhead just sitting on our back porch the other day. Thank God my husband told me AFTER HE LET IT GET AWAY!!!!!!!!

*sigh* Now I'm afraid to go out at night.

Yea, spiders. Fuck those things. I just found out my apartment is infested with yellow sac spiders, which, of course, are poisionous. Yay for fucking me. Let's see if I can sleep in this place, oh, EVER AGAIN.

For some strange reason I've turned this spider problem into a challenge that if I can't solve or drop the interior population, then I'll start bug bombing the crap out of the place and think about selling.
It may be better to have me living here with them instead of a family with kids crawling around.
Selling the house the way it is wouldn't make me feel to great.
I'll keep my spiders over the copperheads even though I don't do anything outside other than mow.
I take that back I'd rather not deal with any of them.

ouch, I could be wrong but it seems like I read something about them being pretty small.
At least you know and can take precautions and read up on the best way to get rid of them.
Dunno if all my precautions are the same with the sac spider but you may want to pull the bed a few inches or more away from the wall.
Maybe put some double sided tape around the legs of your bed.
Bedskirts/sheets etc should not be touching the floor.
You can also go to extremes like me and sleep with the light on.
Or even buy white bedding so when you wake up in the middle of the night you don't have to search forever to see if the air moving your hair is a spider.
Feel free to post any pics you may get.
Good luck.

So I was laying in bed watching TV last night when I noticed a familiar and freaky pattern on the wall.
Compare the shadow above the ceiling fan with the fiddle pattern on the spider lol.
What a scary ass coincidence.

Not that I know of.
I've read the reaction can vary depending on the person and how much venom is injected.
Before I knew I had these bastards my mattress used to be on the floor with both sides against the wall.

A few months back I got what I hope was food poisoning.
This was before I knew they were wandering around the house.
If my reaction to a bite is throwing up all day or flesh rotting, I don't know wtf I'll do. :/

Once I get the rest of my baseboards sealed up I'm hoping to be in good shape.

Well, I've got carpet pulled from two rooms now and stuck 4 glueboards in each of them.
I've only found a small one on each board since.
New carpet in those rooms should be in this weekend
Thanks for asking
Other than those rooms, I haven't seen a live one inside for just over a week.

A week or so ago I found another wolf spider in the garage and decided I'd keep him/her.
I think keeping him/her is actually helping my recluse paranoia.
Now I just look at it as, "The only way I will get bit bad is if one of them presses up against my skin"

I've jabbed a few recluse with some paper and the defensive attack was short and quick so I think the worst bite would come from them being trapped against the skin.
Haven't had a spider dream in awhile now either lol.
