glad to hear it, you may be insane but I don't think you've reach that stage yet. it is a very interesting song but the extended use of metaphors would probably make it quite offputting (no offence).

I dont quite understand what you mean by too many metaphors tho, I dont think I really use much else than the "cat" metaphor... just so you know this is about an actual person... but I'd rather not use the real name, and I dont think it would be fair to use a fake one.. the cat fits them just fine..

I think you accidentally use metaphors, I've noticed it in some of your other songs, things like "A cracked little doll in a Fools Day Parade", and "I'm crawling out of my skin // Sinking teeth digging in". They make a bit more sense now that you've explained it better.

Oh, and just out of curiosity, do you have a pet cat? and if yes, did that have any influence on the song?

Ya, I'm a little iffy on "a cracked little doll in a fools day parade" myself, i didnt really like it in that song either... maybe i'll stick it in a different song and replace it with something else..

To your question, yes I have two cats... They influenced the song slightly you could say on how I've observed how they act towards eachother and myself... cats generally pretend to be cuddly and cute when they want something... but then will claw your eyes out after they get it if you try to interact with them more
Sortof like how my relationship with this person was... I cared for them alot and they seemed to love me aswell... but maybe they only acted that way because they felt like it or it was convenient for them at the time... and then afterwards they ignore my existence and seem very bitter towards me now.. cos of one error..
So you see, it basically just one of those "i thought you loved me, maybe you didnt but i loved you" type of songs.. i just wanted to write it in a way that was more interesting and thought provoking then just straight out saying that. Sort of the idea of "Numb" by Holly McNarland or "So I thought" by flyleaf... those were my inspiration songs... if you've heard them. If you havent I suggest you check them out, they're amazing

Well, here's a new song, I wrote it at like 1:00 in the morning... so ya... But I think this ones good, I like it anyways... It's about something personal, but also has a dual story behind it..
I imagine it as sounding slow, sad and powerful... with a wide range in the vocals, with soft soprano mostly for the singing and maybe some organ and really dark and low sounding... with lots of back ground singing, mostly just oo's and stuff, you know? Basically my own Understanding(wash it all away) my "gothic ballad"
I was going to post the meaning and everything with it, but I thought it would be more fun for you guys to tell me first
also, i know this is awkward in a few parts, but dont worry, its because of the way it'll be sung..

wow, now that is an interesting song, full of strength and emotion. It's a bit long but that doesn't matter too much. I'm thinking it should be called "dissapear" because this other person in the song seems to be dissapearing but you're trying to hold on to them.
