I think that would be quite the reunion, if David, and Ben
would rejoin the band!!!

I could possibly see David doing some work, but Ben, I hardly dout
that would ever even be possible.

I am just going to have to wait, and see what happens with Ev, as
far as I know right now....Everything is up in the air.

Stranger things have happened...such as "Hell Froze Over", in which it was just officially a 14 year "vacation".

I've tried to listen very carefully to the guitar playing of both albums. They each have their unique style and rhythm to them, both play very well IMHO, and the songs themselves are unique to each album as well.

Well, I certainly opened up something with this topic, not intentionally, I assure you. My view is that I want to see another album, whether it be via a reunion, the current guys, or something different, but as long as their format stays relative to the sound that I fell in love with.

And speaking of David collaborating on the new album.. It'll be really interesting to hear, but it's unlikely to happen. Seems like he's quite satisfied with his own band and work, so I doubt he'll join Amy [and Terry] to write some stuff.

No, nothing is for sure. Right now all signs are pointing to Ev being done for good, however I wouldn't put it past Amy to change her mind.

It could be possible that she'd work with David again. Think about it. He is her husbands best buddy. How hard would it be to be sitting around the house bsing and all of a sudden thing "damn that would be awesome in a song". Then the songwriting fires begin to burn. eh- It could happen

Altho it would be awesome to throw Ben into the mix once again. It could happen if Amy could put aside their differences and create some awesome stuff. It has to be hard to see how successful Ben has been since he left the group. He's one hellova songwriter and producer.

But alas, I'll probably have grandkids before there is even thought of another album.

To be honest, I think Amy would go crazy if she didn't make some sort of art. She got so burned out touring and making the album, plus dealing with obsessive fans, that right now the farthest thought from her mind is doing it all again. Plus, I'm sure she wants to settle down and enjoy life with her husband. I believe she even said that he's been so supportive of her career, that after the TOD tour she was going to settle down to be supportive of him.

So, will Evanescence produce another album - maybe, maybe not. Will Amy continue to make music? Probably. Whether or not it is anything the record labels deem worthy enough to make an album out of - that's quite another story.
