By the way, I remember Amy said Josh had presented her a harp for her Birthday and that she was taking private lessons, it means she still plays music pretty often. And I bet she will have [or even already has] some ideas of using a harp in modern music. At least, she's always been like that.

I'll interject here again and say that I hope that you guy are all wrong and that there will be another album. It would be a shame to watch all that talent go there separate ways, but alas that has happened before too. (Same group inuendo in a previous post of mine)

Is Amy really that strung out from the last tour to hang it up so soon after having such great success?

Amy's priorities have changed. Her focus isn't the band anymore, it's Josh and being a wife. It's hard to say, a family may be in the works.

Yes, I have heard Amy say the exact same thing.
She just want to be a wife, since she really never had the
chance to before, because of being on tour.
This is why she had said, she wants a couple/few years off.
Even then, things can change, and she may just decide to
change her career.
She wanted to do so many different things in life, and may just
go on a different path.
I don't think, she will ever stop having music in her life, maybe in
another form.
People have to realize, that Amy does have the last say, an dif this is
what she decides to do, as long as it makes her happy, then I will
always stand, and support her 100%!!!
BUT.....in my opinion, I think there will be another album, but maybe
just not another tour, to go along with it this time around.

Personally, I think Amy will keep making music - but I don't think it'll be Evanescence music. I think Ev is done, or at least done for a VERY long time. But Amy's said herself that she wants to pursue different areas of music - the harp is one example, her desire to score films another. Whether she chooses to release the music she creates isn't certain in my eyes, either. But I do think that she'll continue making music, and if we do see an album from her, it'll be after she's had a couple of years off.

I like this one..Country Queen...good one!! I guess that we could have the New Age Queen, or maybe the Pop Princess, or better still, the Rap Queen.

Alas, after reading what yuins have said, I guess for the time being, or hopefully not this, forever, have to enjoy the music from them that they have made. Damn!

Amy's not Goth anymore. Don't expect any additional music along those lines from her, she's more likely to make Celine Dion style music from here on.
