Evanescence died the day Ben left the band!

Although Ben tried to return to the band and kept calling Amy,she
didn't accept him back.
The result is the open door.It's a nice album but it's not "Evanescence",if you know what i mean!

In my opinion,Evanescence doesn't exist anymore.
Evanescence was Ben,Amy and David. Those three together used to write songs that touched us!These people are Evanescence,no one else is!!!

And if Amy really loves the band as much as she claims,she should really get together with David and Ben.
Otherwise,there won't be another album and those people who want Evanescence to fail will actually be veeeeeeeeery happy!

I think there will be one more album!
Amy/Evanescence is signed with Wind Up Records, for one more.
Ev is always full of surprises, and I just have a feeling, Amy will not
let all the fans down!!
Like the saying go's, you never know what to expect, but you know
its always going to be phenominal!!

I agree, it would be just amazing, If Amy would hire Ben And David Back!
You never know, she might have something in the works with David,
they are friends, and has resently seen eachother.
I don't think Amy and Ben, will ever become friends again.
I'm just not going to get all down about Ev, when they have just finished

Another thing, things are always kept hush hush, and you never

The only way we'd see a "reunion" of the Old EV would be if that crazy VH1 show "tried" to put the band back together for a single gig. And I have a feeling one or more former members would slam their doors on VH1's face.

Edit: Oh and the only "new album" we'd be seeing for a while might be a live album if Wind-Up is desperate for money. There was an HD audio site that talked about recording audio at an EV concert http://www.holophone.com/action_EvanescenceODT.html -- Though since that concert had John & Rocky it may never see the light of day....

IMO, people need to stop whinging that Ev have to get back together or they'll just 'die' or be 'lost' without them. For heavens sake, grow up, and be grateful for the short time they were around, for the music they gave us, and for the albums you own.
There are more important things to worry about in this world that whether or not Amy will get back with the band, because honestly, I don't give a shit.

Well, I certainly won't die without them, I'm just pissed that I finally find a modern metal (gothic metal/hard rock for the technical types), and this might be it.

Hell, today I downloaded an interesting album from CDBaby called "The Planets" by Paulo Dicioccio, which sounds NOTHING like EV, but I think it's all good as well.

I just hope, but life as you did say Princess Mary, does go on.

honestly, there have been no new updates or anything about the band itself. no news or anything. evfanclub put together this awesome contest that ended 2 months ago. winners were to be announced end of february. yeah go whomever runs that msg board- there have been no updates since the 18th of december. no winner announced for the contest or anything.

so I seriously doubt that a new album will be coming any time soon. if it is, it'll be a "greatest hits" or something to that nature. Just to fill their cd quota.
