Ev is just finally on a break, most bands do that, after a long tour.
All this is, THE OPEN DOOR chapter is over, and they will soon enough

That's precisely what I'm hoping for. I was just getting itchy for a new album. Nothing more mundane then that, and look where that got this thread!!!

My daughter would be about 11 if it took a couple more years, so we could be seat mates!!

I hope Ev does release a new album, but if they do I don't think it will be for another few years at least.

it better be a trillion times better than TOD was...that album was and still is disgraceful (just my opinion). I miss Ben Moody

Based on what you guys "in the know"" seem to bet saying, do you really think that EV is no more, except as a glimmer in Amy's mind? As I stated earlier, stranger things have happened...

I very much so am enjoying the music from them that I have in the meantime....

she's supposed to be taking a 2 year break and then coming back....at least thats what she said in an interview thingy i watched. and it's in a letter she wrote.

I'll be suprised if there ever is another ev album, but i suppose ill be in my twenties by the time it does come out if there is one!, there may be an Amy Lee record or "Amy Lee and Evanescence" something close to that but that may never be, i mean she still has sales from the first two cd's to live off of, and if she does have a contract with windup for another record, she could get out of it if she tried
