Alright fellow E members...Anyone have any salacious information as to a new album coming in the not so distant future from them?

I've been listening to them again and have picked up the itch for the next one.

Amy is on sabbatical for an undetermined amount of time. I don't forsee a new album for a very long time. Furthermore, "Ev" is really no more, if anything I would assume it would be a solo album.

i agree with Mel, the evanescence we all in love with really no longer exists, as sad as that is.
i can't see another ev album being released and if there is i can't see it released for atleast another 3-4 years.
it would be much more likely there will be an amy lee album released in the next few years

Amy has even said so herself.
They just finished their tour, only a few months ago, they won't even be
thinking about a release of another album.
Amy has said, she would like to do an album with Will, and Troy, But......
Sh edoes understand as well, they do have their own band already.
So it is being left up to them both.
I honestly think, it would be just awesome, if they did, but there will
probably not be any sort of news on that, anytime soon.

Come on, Evanescence has been Amy and Terry (you shouldn't forget about him) before the TOD release. The presence of Rocky and John in the band didn't change much, all the stuff was written by Ames and Terry. So what solo album? Sure Ev will release another album, it's just a matter of time. And speaking of time I doubt we'll hear anything from Ev until 2011 at least. Just my guess.

Are you kidding me? I'm pretty sure there won't be another album.. and if yes, it will be worse than TOD. I mean 12 remixes of Good Enough?! No thanx.

TOD is not that bad. xP But speaking of new songs.. yeah, there's a great possibility that they'll be like Good Enough. But still I hope there'll be some darker songs too.

And no, she won't fire Terry.

I'm pretty positive.

If all of what some of you are saying is true, then it would figure that I would really like a group that is defunct by all accounts after a couple of go rounds. After reading the material on the reference page, however, Amy is the only original member for a couple of guitarist and drummist changes, so it hasn't been the original band since "Origin" days.

Given other bands and musicians' changes these days, as long as one of the founding members hangs around to keep their particular "sound" alive, the group is still alive IMHO. There have been, however the other side to that coin, whereas after a particular controlling factor left the band, it was bye bye to the whole premise of that particular sound alltogether.

I suppose that I could wait 'till 2011, but I sure as hell hope that we don't have to.
