New Usergroup and mod restructuring - EvBoard

Just an FYI everyone. There is a new group called "EvBoard Consultant" and its currently home to 5 of our previous Super Mods. This group is for any smod who can't be around as much as they used to for whatever reason.

Those in this group are not required to be active like the other staff members but are encouraged to participate in mod discussions and general discussion on the forums when they have the time to stop by. We recognize the history they have with this site and felt it was not right to remove them from staff even though they can't be around like they used to be.

We hope they will do what they can to help out when they have the time to stop by.

That being said, there will be some new faces coming into the mod team along with some promotions. More to come.

i think this is a very good idea, it is a way to recognise the older members and the history of this place

im with julie on this people will be going crazy with suspicion and incorrect ideas.
promotions sounds like a good idea and a way to reward some of the really hard working people.

After the April Fools joke, I hope those mods that were "infighting" (lawl) get supermod status

They deserve something for pulling off that joke!

Ooh, I agree Lori! Chris did say promotions, so I wonder if that means current Mods will get bumped up to SMods?

SMods could all become Super Doopah Mods, or something....

I'm very happy to hear that there's an "consultant" usergroup where older members have a say with the mod team. That's very reassuring and comforting.

Change is always a good thing, but I'm glad that there are older members that share in the decisions made by the staff.

I agree, it was nice to see some of them post during April Fools, it felt like old times. They built the foundation of this place and deserve their respect.
