I think this is a good idea, and if someone was given neg-rep and they don't think it's right, then they could send a message to the mods (as already stated) the mods could decide whether the person deserved neg-rep, if the person was simply displaying their opinion, then the neg-rep should be undone. I also think sending the neg-rep back to the person who sent it in the first place (if it was wrongly sent) could also be a possibility.

I don't think anyone actually gives out neg rep just because they disagree with someone. If someone is offensive, then give them neg rep, but I don't think people actually neg rep just because someone says something they disagree with.
I've said alot of things that have pissed people off, but I've never gotten a neg rep for it. I'm not really worried as everyone gets more good rep than neg rep.

In order to get deleted, and or looked over.
I have never given one, and never plan to either, if I don't like
something, I just either ignore it, or bring it to a mods attension.
But I won't give anything like a neg rep for it.
The only way I will bring it a mod, if its that bad it needs to be over
looked.
Other then that, Everyone is intitled to their own opinions, and have the

You guys are complete goofballs about the neg repping thing. It's not a big deal. If you get one, my advice is... GET OVER IT. Even if it was given out of spite or ignorance, who cares? Neg reps aren't worth anywhere near as much as pos reps... and, seriously, if you're that worried about your repuation on a MESSAGE BOARD, I think it's more important that you see a counselor and learn to get a life.

^ I agree with that, But for some reason some of us don't get much pos rep either, I've recieved it 5 times, once for having an "introduce yourself" thread, and four times in the "kill the poster above you" thread, which is weird, pos rep for killing people.

If you're not getting positive rep, there's probably good reason for that. Most of us got a lot of pos reps for really insightful, informative, or just plain mature posts. So if you're only posting mindless blubber, then yeah, you're only going to get a couple reps every now and then, considering you wound up making some posts in that bunch that were worth laughing at.

We do have a thread on why people give out pos rep, maybe you should take a look at that and cater to our needs if you want us to give you more rep.

EDIT: You also only have 73 posts, which frankly, isn't very much... especially considering you spend a lot of your posting time in the EvBored section. I'd suggest visiting the Advice or Discussion/Debate Forums and post your point of view, or start your own topic worth discussing. AND you've only been here a couple months. Reputation is something very particular... most of us don't hand points out like crazy, but on merit. It's going to take a lot more posts and a lot more contribution to this board to EARN some positive reputation.

I've taken your advice, and I've started a topic in the debate/discusion forum called "are anti-racism campaigns having a reverse effect" as it is something which has been on my mind for a fair amount of time. I also have a thought on religion running around in my mind which I might create a discussion topic for.
