I'm a panthers fan but i don't see them returning to the superbowl.

The playoffs? maybe. it really depends on whether or not tampa bay gets their shit together this year.

After going 1-15 two years ago, it was great to finally see the panthers put together an awesome season. The superbowl rocked, btw. One of the best that i've seen.

Heh, no kidding. I knew Williams retired and David Boston is out for the year...now I see they've lost Chris Akins and Shawn Wooden. They're going to have to field a team of replacement players soon

They sent a letter to Williams demanding he return to play for them or repay 8 million dollars he was already paid. I hope he didn't spend it all on marijuana

SB Picks

As much as I hate to say it. I think the Eagles will represent the NFC this year. Too much talent not to finally break through, and Andy Reid is a very good coach.

The AFC , well Peyton and his weapons will come close, and I think they will find just enought defense this year to get past The very capable Patriots.

Biggest dissappointment: Dallas and Tampa
Biggest Surprises: Houston And Washington

MVP: Peyton Manning
(favorite team: Redskins)

I could possibly see Houston making the playoffs this year. They've been improving over the last couple of seasons.

I have a feeling they will too. They've actually had a pretty decent defense that has continued to improve each season, and now I think the offense is beginning to catch up. I think their running back Domanick Davis could have a big year, and silence the critics. Provided he stays healthy of course.

Well, after the beatdown my Pats took, preseason or not, it looks like the Bengals might be good this year.

I don't think I've said that phrase in 15 years.

they've also been steadily improving over the past two years. They were what, 8-8 last year? And had chances at a wildcard spot?

And they've got Carson Palmer getting ready for pro. They could be a force to be reckoned with in a couple years.

I wouldn't worry too much about how a team performs in the preseason. Remember the Bills always sucked ass in the preseason but went to three straight superbowls. They lost of course, but they still got there

That's four straight Super Bowls. I'm reminded all the time by my wife, her family, my dad, my grandmother and half my crew at work that they went to four in a row. It's funny now because my Pats actually got it right the last two times they went.

True story, six months after the first Bills SB loss, my dad ran into Scott "wide right" Norwood in downtown Fredonia (old training camp site) at a hot dog stand. My dad, in his lack of common sense goes up to him and asks if he is Scott Norwood. When he says, "Yes." My dad, puts his arm around him and says,"I'm sorry, if that kick was only 18 inches more to the left."

As if poor Norwood hadn't heard that about a thousand friggin' times before.

Doh, that's right...four :P I'm not a Bills fan at all. I was so sick of seing them make the SB every year. I guess we probably won't have to worry about a run like that again for a while though
