BBB just has this beat that you can't help but want to dance to a little. I've gotten many a weird look when my iPod is on and this song starts playing, and I start rocking out and lip-syncing in the middle of a busstop, or the sidewalk

I'm new around here, so I thought I'd just throw my 2 cents in about my absolute favorite band of all time (yeah, yeah, I know this is an Evanescence forum, so sue me...)

I've been a fan of Nightwish since the very beginning when a friend of mine sent me "Angels Fall First" and I fell in love with the lyrics immediately. Not to mention Tarja's incredible voice...I love the emotions in the words and music, the fact that Tuomas pours his heart and soul into everything he puts out there...

...and I have to say, as much as I loved them with Tarja, I simply *adore* the "New Era" of Nightwish. Anette is simply...(I am going to get killed for saying this) perfect for them...her voice has so much depth and emotion to it, she breaths new life into all the old songs that she performs live and in my personal opinion Dark Passion Play is the best album this band has ever done (Century Child and Once tie as close seconds...)

I saw them live for the first time in Poughkeepsie, NY in May, and the show totally blew me away...Anette's voice is incredible live, even better than on the album, and the way they all interact with each other and the crowd...you can really see that they care for each other and love what they're doing. I can't WAIT until the end of August when I'll see them again 2 nights in a row, and then *hopefully* twice more in September.

Anyway...you'll be seeing more of me.

Yes ! i am agree with you,Anette gives a breath to the music, and someone gave me the ANGELS FALL FIRST,also with beautiful songs, but it's much better the Nightwish 2008, definetaly .
And welcome to the Evboard Forum !! My favourite band is Nightwish too ( i know i will be punished, but i found something to do while Ev it's taking a break )and yeah DPP, is the best album ever !

I saw a picture of Anette's son in Rock AM Ring, at the end of the concert, and also i saw A TATOO!
Yes, indeed Anette got a tatoo in the arm, i think is a word, or maybe a phrase, but it's true, i couldn't believe it !
