Cool pictures, Nina! (and I'm not just saying that because of the snow

) I particularly like the composition of pics 3,4,6 and 9.

I was trying to start my own photography thread yesterday, but Imageshack didn't and still doesn't want to cooperate with me ("database undergoing recovery bla bla..."

). Oh well, some other time then.

But I'm glad to see you didn't experience the same problem with your pics and I hope to see more of them in the future.

Some weeks ago I wrote a poem in German. Since I didn't have much time when I wrote it, Laurie (dodididodo) was so nice and translated it for me

Once it walked through this lonely world:
A lost, sad soul
She had nothing, no money
And hoped in her prayers
She was in search of her beloved
Who was promised to her
She passed stones, mountains and meadows
She was so far away, and yet so close
She never found peace
Not even in her sleep
At night she’d cry
And silently count sheep
One morning she was no longer waiting
People were in grief
She now was high up in the sky
And no longer a wandering soul

If anyone is interested in the German or Dutch translation too, tell me and I'll post it

That was an absoutly beautiful poem. The wording that you used was breath taking, and the way you worded everything was awesome. I like the form the poem is in. Great job writing it, and awesome job with the wording.

Firstly, I'm really sorry for not updating - I just didn't have enough time for it!
And secondly, thanks everybody for commenting! I really appreciate it!

Some days ago I spent my holidays in Holland - the most beautiful country I've ever been to!
On my 3rd day there I went to Zandvoort - a very beautiful city at the sea - and took some photos there:

Have you ever seen a sea gull this near?
