Noob feedback. - Page 6 - EvBoard

I was PM'd by a welcoming committee member almost as soon as I joined up. I never PM'd them - but that was simply because I had hung around in here for a while before joining up - just reading posts etc and I soon figured out the rules for myself. The committee is good in the fact that it makes us n00bs feel welcome and included - I've found that some boards can become like a little clan and get all cliquey and it's really hard to break through the ranks. This is what the welcoming committee helps us to do.

As for educating new posters - I think it's up to them to read the rules etc and ask questions of the welcoming committee, mods or older members on the board.

I wish more people would PM us as in the mods, older members, and the welcome committee... I have had plenty of new people PM and ask me questions. Don't be afraid. Its not like we are going to bite you.

i only regiestered (sp?) a few weeks ago and my guide head pm'd me.

which i thought was very nice , thank you Head.

He pm'd me just after Buffyfan (also very helpful) had said who was my guide .
and told me to go look in my mailbox , which i probably would not have done.
i pm'd him back.

alot of people replied to my "hello" post .

I was given links and stuff , from the stickies on this board . Which helped me alot.

took me a little time to get used to the boards , but i have to say these are the best boards on the internet.

Well i do hav a question, or more of a concerm to ask, but i really scared of what they are going to say.... ...but the welcome commitee etc... they r all so nice, and make u feel like taking your shoes off as u walk into the evboard gates... its so nice..... i'm scared of what they mite do wen i talk to them.... so who do i talk to? cause i really hav this on my mind.....

Buffy should be along soon and she will stop in your thread and tell you who your 'buddy' is. or your 'buddy' might Pm you. Feel free to PM 'senior members' to. We been around for awhile and might be able to help.

I didnt get PM'd but I'm sure thats only coz our busy moderators are too busy doing such a good job but EvBoard has heaps of instructions on how it runs and everything and everyones been nice so good job guys!!! Keep it up
