Does anyone know how this song got its title? October is definitely one of their most peaceful songs, though it took a while to grow on me. I give it a 7 out of 10.

This has to be my all time fav Ev song. "I cant run anymore, I give myself to you, im sorry- im sorry". Its so beautiful. I am glad its done acousticly too, it adds more emotion to the song.

Also, Iread once in an interview, Amy has said as a child she was obssessed over Halloween. October. So, maybe many reasons!

I totally agree. I think this is the most Christian/religious song from them, and I love it.

October is great its probaly one of the longest Evanescence song and I think its great but after a bit it gets kind of annoying but over all its a right good song reminds me of a song by Goldfrapp called Paper Bag.

I take it both ways, But mostly as a love song....at the moment this is my favorite ev song, give it a few days it will be something else but anyways, it could be both....
