Origin.. Greater album than fallen?

I prefer Origin. It has a more raw sound to it which I LOVE. It has a darker feel to me. WU has a way of changing the bands songs. Other bands have had different sounding versions of their songs and WU had them changed. I always seem to like the before versions better.

Off of Origin, I would say that Farther Away and Feild Of Innocence are my faves.

Erm I love them both.. I can't choose

But I do prefer the Origin version of Imaginary because I just love the way it starts with a piano and comes in with "Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming." I know the Fallen version has that part too, but it's a bigger effect when it's at the beginning rather than being in the middle. For me anyway. But the Fallen version is still great...

The thing is that Fallen seems to be like, I litlle bit .... like more prepared and elaborate, that my opinion. But both are great, really.

And I prefer the Imaginary (monsters) than the Fallen version too.
Both are beatiful albums.

I think they are both cool-why choose when you dont have to?

The fact is they are both so different, therefore it is hard for me to compare...I listen to both of them alot and could never choose.

These were demos recorded after Origin that were potential material for Fallen.

In response to the question...I love all of Ev's stuff. I don't have the Origin album, but I have ALMOST all of the songs on there. Personally, I love all their stuff. Each song has different attributes that make it a masterpiece.

Love both versions of "Everybody's Fool", "Imaginary", "Haunted", and I'm TRYING to find the old version of Whisper. Is hard though :-\

I much agree.
I've listened to Origin at least 10 times as much as I have Fallen (I've had Origin longer, too, but you know).

It's usually the album I feel like putting on, when I want to hear Ev.

I reckon fallens not as good as the demos. Some of the songs where better with out the record company making it more friendly. the albums awesome but Ben had better riffs they flowed more than they do on fallen. but it still is one of the best albums i ever bort.

But I do prefer some of the demos to the versions of Fallen (Bring me to life, Everybody's Fool, My Immortal, Tourniquet, Whisper)

i never really heard the whole origin cd (dont have it) but i did hear songs from it and love those songs but i dont think that that cd is better than fallen. i love there old stuff its just fallen beats all!
